15.01.2022 Weekend Wrap Up! With a second in class D in race one and 2 third places in race 2 & 3 respectively, Cougar Powder Coatings Michael Ferns nailed the brief all weekend. Driving in challenging conditions, FERNS held his nerve and battled hard with some much bigger and faster cars, leaving nothing on the table.... A huge thanks has to go out to NSW PTC stalwarts, Chris Reeves and Anthony Soole who provided FERNS with calming advice throughout the weekend! Next round will be back at SMP where our December 2019 RAI Competition Winner, Sean CADE will take the reigns in his first ever production touring cars race event. We cant wait!! With race car co-owner, Michael Ferns and our Dec 2019 Competition Winner, Cody McKay pairing up for rd1 of the APC Nationals Production Cars at SMSP it was bound to be an entertaining weekend. With unpredictable weather and plenty of the bigger cars struggling to get power to the ground the boys did a fantastic job all weekend, finishing every race across the two days. ... Suffice to say The Little Polo That Could, Did!! The car prep was completed by our team Engineer, Phil & Oskar from PB Motorsport Services and maintained all weekend by the crew which includes; Michael, Josh, Phil, Oskar. To all of our sponsors, judges, support staff and our RAl crew, from the bottom of my heart, Thank You, for all that you do to ensure we produce a quality product time after time. We have now run 2 competitions in a year, completed and won B2 in the Bathurst 6HR, run in NSW PTC in 2019 with some epic results and have the xmas club day left to round out the year.... To all our competitors this year, thank you for believing in the brand and supporting grass roots motorsport. I remember each and every entrant from our 2 events. 01.01.2022 Last round of 2021 NSW PTC championship and we are ready for the 1hr enduro. Sean Cade (RAI Freshman Winner) set the fastest ever lap time in the Polo this morning so we know theres speed in the car for the big race! Race starts 11:15am. Thanks to all our loyal sponsors who have been very patient with us this year!
01.01.2022 As we welcome in the new year its fair to say weve been a little quiet on the social but theres a reason for it. The team at RAI have been working non stop over the break in preparation for the Bathurst 6HR this easter. Everythings been replaced and we are looking forward to testing in a few weeks time. We have some amazing new sponsors onboard and well be announcing our Driver line up soon. ... We will have a fresh new look this year and cant wait to see the final design. It will be epic. Lets not forget our December Winner Cody McKay will be pairing up with Mike Ferns for Round 1 of the APC at SMP on March 6-8 in the little Polo. That will be a hoot!!
