25.01.2022 PSA: WE. ARE. STARTING. TAKEAWAY! 21 MARCH In light of recent events surrounding COVID-19 and new regulations set in place by the government we have now started doing takeaway across ALL stores starting 21 March and Ubereats later next week! Please note the following:... We don't take takeaway orders other the phone; you must order in store so that we can ensure you always leave with fresh and delicious ramen! All our stores are still open for standard hours (except Surfers Paradise, where we'll close at 10pm every night)! We have always been using food-grade commercial disinfectant to wipe down tables, chairs and kitchen areas in all our stores! We have enacted social distancing measures for dine-in, so our restaurants won't be able to seat customers at full capacity and we Thank you for your understanding So to help with all of this we are now offering takeaway at all our stores until the COVID-19 situation gets better! We will keep you updated on our social media on any new info and let you know once all stores are ready to take orders via Ubereats!

24.01.2022 NEWS ALERT There has been a lot going on at Danbo these days and we’re about to make yet another announcement! We understand some of our new regulars mention that they won’t be eating their takeaway ramen for some time after their drive home and often ask if the soup and the noodles are in separate containers! Yes, the answer is yes! BUT! We thought, what if we were able to offer customers the BEST POSSIBLE quality of takeaway ramen? Here it is:... Starting today we will be serving fresh noodles as another option for your takeaway ramen! Essentially you will be able to take your fresh noodles home, leave it in the fridge for the rest of the day and boil in time for dinner when you’re ready to eat! Unless of course it’s a Lazy Sunday and you ain’t got time for that then order as you usually would and leave it to us! Let us know what you think! 23.01.2022 Remember the good ol’ days when Southport was open 7 days a week and now we’re open no days a week, and now you understand the true meaning behind #noramennolife? Yeah us too SOUTHPORT UPDATE: we’ve FINALLY moved past Phase 1: Insurance. Now it’s time for Phase 2: Rebuilding. Our store at Mercato on Ferry will be rebuilt starting from the frames; as if we are building for the first time ever. BUT, silver lining: we finally know when we’ll be ready to reopen. As of now we expect to be open by January 2021 #yay #prayingforSouthport For our GC fans we REALLY cannot wait to get back up and running in Southport and we hope you all feel the same! We ask that you all continue to respect the social distancing rules and practice good hygiene whilst dining at our stores! Our staff will also ensure they are washing their hands regularly and wiping down tables with kitchen-grade cleaner! That means the Old gang can get back together and have that family dinner we’ve missed out on for the past 2 months! Don’t forget we still don’t take any bookings at any of our stores but it shouldn’t be a problem anyway! You’ll most likely get a seat straight away! Also! Whilst coronavirus had us in lockdown for several weeks we took the opportunity to explore possibilities for new ventures to bring Danbo to YOU when you just can’t shake off that hankering for ramen!... ENTER: Danbo Kitchens! A slightly updated menu with extra side options for a takeaway variety! We won’t be offering dine-in at any of our Danbo Kitchens but the great thing about it is that when eating-in isn’t an option you’ve got the next best thing, and I’m sure we can all agree that takeaway ramen is better than no ramen! So right now we’re working on opening more of these Danbo Kitchens around Brisbane and the Gold Coast! We’ll get you to order via the QR code/online ordering site for pick-up or you can order through our delivery partners; UberEats or EASI! 12.01.2022 [UPDATE ON OUR SOUTHPORT STORE] As you may all know, our Southport store was recently affected by a fire that happened at the barber shop next door to us. This fire caused extensive damage within the roof of our entire side of the building where a lot of electrical cables, vents and air conditioning units are hidden. Unfortunately, we are expecting the repair to take much, MUCH longer than we first anticipated and we are still uncertain at this stage in regards to exactly wh...en we’ll be back up and running. Sadly, we expect it will be a few more months till we are back ready to serve you at Mercato on Ferry. Again, we are hopeful we’ll be able to get back to you with good news sooner than later! On a more happier note, as we mentioned before our team at Surfers Paradise are able to take your orders for our ramen lovers on the Gold Coast! 11.01.2022 [ACTUAL BAD NEWS] 30.06.2020 Ramen Danbo Southport Upon further inspection by our contractors we've been advised that there is extensive damage within the ceilings of the building which will require a complete renovation. Sadly, the job is expected to take at least 1 month to complete in which during this time Danbo Southport will undergo some TLC and some renovation to parts of the shop! BUT we will still be trading at Surfers Paradise for our Gold Coast customers so you w...on't completely miss out on your ramen fix! 2020 has been one hell of a year but it's still not finished yet! So we'll do our best to power through the struggles and get through the rest of the year! (*Queue some ugly crying) We'll keep you all updated on our social media pages with hopefully some good news!

11.01.2022 Guess what?! We've now set up an online ordering system, or "Own Device Ordering" [ODO] so you can pre-order your takeaway ramen before you arrive at our stores! We apologise if you tried to order with us through our ODO on the 25th of this month! Unfortunately, we experienced some issues on our first day! 07.01.2022 CLOSE CALLRamen Danbo Southport There was a fire next door at the barbershop overnight... We've been told that it's safe to go inside our shop as it's just water and smoke damage.. BUT to be sure we'll be doing a full inspection with our builders tomorrow... As such we’ll be CLOSED until further notice, though hopefully we can open back up again mid week! Please visit Surfers Paradise for your ramen fix in the meantime ! Shoutout to the first responders that got on the scene so quickly and managed to put out the fire before it did anymore damage!

As we move on to more exciting projects, we've decided to shut down our operations here - BUT DON’T WORRY! We've taken what we've learnt there and we'll be applying it to our BRAND NEW project which we are excited to announce in a few weeks time...
