02.05.2022 In March 2022, Randwick environmental groups were invited to come on a learning journey to use their mobile phones to better tell the story of their group's work. In learning to be observers first as well as practical phone photography skills, these passionate volunteers have produced some stunning images. At this one-night-only exhibition, you will not only see their photographs, but hear from each group about their photographs, group's work and learning journey. Come not just to be inspired by their work, but learn how you too can become an observer and improve the photographs you take. Exhibitors include our very own Monica O'Connell and Ruth Braunstein from Randwick Community Organic Garden. Get your free tickets here: https://events.humanitix.com/photography-exhibition-randwic

21.04.2022 A great big thank you to Lipton for our garden upgrade over the last few weeks and a fun party to celebrate the upgrades. Thank you to Traffik for organising us all, Loki Hines Music for the great tunes on the night, Sustainability Hub for the wicking beds, the chippies, and neighbours and garden members for all the work over the last few weeks and helping up celebrate! It was so fun to finally be together again. Thank you everyone!

02.04.2022 Such a huge day today, moving soil, wicking beds and building compost bays. The garden is looking incredible tonight, the lights are strung up in preparation for tomorrow’s party. We just need to finish up a few more jobs. So if you’re free between 9-10 am tomorrow we really need a few more hands. Please let me know if you can make it.

23.03.2022 We have new and amazing plants (thank you Lipton), new wicking beds (thank you Sustainability Hub) and areas to style and WE NEED YOU! We're having a mini impromptu working bee today for anyone who's free from 2 pm - 6 pm. We'll be planting out wicking beds in preparation for tomorrow's party, and styling up the compost areas. If you're free come and join us!

16.03.2022 The pavers and sand have arrived and building work will begin on our compost areas and wicking bed bases today! Thank you Lipton for our garden makeover!

15.02.2022 Today our skip bin was delivered to the site. Please add anything old and broken to the bin from the garden. But if you have anything that is still useable, please offer it up on Marketplace or another free site, rather than putting it in the skip. (If you're not sure how to do this please ask me.) As you can see from the photo the three blue bins are still up for grabs to anyone who wants them, just outside the back gate. These are great for weed or worm teas.

06.02.2022 A massive thank you to everyone who came along across two days this weekend. Many members spent a lot of hours cleaning up in preparation for the Lipton makeove...r next week. Thank you all! If anyone would like some rainwater barrels or a wheely bin they’re free for the taking outside the back garden gate. Older members will remember our great friend Lauchlan Giddy who came to visit! So great to see old faces and new! See more
