25.01.2022 A huge congratulations to our Business Development Manager, Kath, on her nomination and appointment to the Diversity and Inclusion Committee for the Property Council of Australia - Queensland for 2021/2022. With over 3000 nominations received across the country, this will be Kath’s 3rd term on the committee, which now exceeds their national 40:40:20 diversity target with 44% of positions held by women and 56% by men. 23.01.2022 PROJECT STARTING SOON! RAW Commercial Projects have recently been appointed to construct the new clinic fitout for Insight Eye Surgery, based in Noosaville. Insight Eye Surgery is a state-of-the-art ophthalmology service with a professional yet friendly and relaxed environment. They offer specialist ophthalmic and cataract surgery and both medical and surgical ophthalmology management. 22.01.2022 We're excited for dear friends of RAW Commercial Projects, Andrew and Jaimee Baturo, as they embark on their new venture coming soon to Brisbane's Eagle Street Pier. The owners behind venues such as Libertine Restaurant & Cocktail Bar, Walter's Steakhouse and Wine Bar and Popolo Italian Kitchen and Bar, will open NAGA THAI Restaurant and Bar in early October, which will be serving up regionally inspired Thai dishes along with a vibrant drinks menu for you to enjoy whilst taking in stunning views of the Brisbane River. 18.01.2022 PROJECT UPDATE Emerson Eagle Farm is underway, which will see the 1000m2 office space, situated along Kingsford Smith Drive, transformed with a total new fitout, furniture, training rooms, amenities upgrades, new PWD facilities and staff kitchens. The team have already finished demolition, started roughing in the new electrical and next will be the waterproofing, tiling and plastering.... 18.01.2022 What a fantastic way to end the week. Check out the terrific tilling for our modern laundromat fitout under construction in Brisbane. The site is taking shape with under slab core holes and drainage roughed in too. Construction Manager Darren Jones and our new Site Manager, Dayne Heap reviewing the work done, and what’s ahead. The RAW team is on track with the installation of a 140m gas pipe to connect to the mains coming up next, sure to be quite a challenge! Plus, waterproofing and epoxy flooring to the back of house areas underway as well. Washing laundry will never be the same, once these high tech machines are in place, and people can sit back, relax and be entertained all at the same time. 14.01.2022 Our RAW team is very proud to be helping Early Start Australia fitout their new therapy clinic at Buderim. The organisation is committed to delivering evidence based early intervention and therapy services for children, young adults and their families. The project is starting to take shape with the wall framing being installed and plasterboard sheeted. Next up the team is working on electrical and data installation, air conditioning modifications and acoustic insulation. The team’s enjoying being on the Sunshine Coast and working on local projects. 02.01.2022 Our Building Assessment service continues to add value for our clients. Recently, MD Richard Wiseman and Preconstruction Manager Ryan Bosua assessed a vacant site in Coomera, on the Gold Coast. They inspected the site and returned a concept plan and budget within a few days. Our analysis showed the space was functional but there were considerable costs associated with preparing the base building works including flooring, ceilings, lights, fire services and air conditioning.... When our client considered the cost of the additional work involved in the fitout, the lease offer was not as cost-effective as it appeared initially. We’re now working with our client on an alternative site that will be a better fit for them.
