21.01.2022 Although the term may be overused this year, Kaylia Stanton's 2020 has well and truly been a rollercoaster ride. After relocating from Perth to be apart of the Suncorp Super Netball hub for three months, making the Grand Final after placing sixth in 2019 to then losing their premiership hopes in the dying minutes of the game, Kaylia thought she had felt all of the emotions that 2020 had to throw at her. It wasn't until her seven years at the West Coast Fever came to an end wh...en she was informed that she was not going to be offered a contract with the team next year. After being a part of a club for so long, experiencing both the highs and lows, Kaylia felt an intense sadness about moving on from this team that had become a second home. After perseverance and resilience, Taylor found herself in the position to make her AFLW debut for the Gold Coast Suns right at the back end of the season, in a time where hopes were beginning to fade. However, her first game was one like no other, as her debut in Round 6 was the first round of the year where crowds were forced out of stadiums due to COVID-19. 12.01.2022 In 2016, Iron Woman Harriet Brown broke her jaw just months before the upcoming World Championships. For six weeks, she couldn't work, train, eat or talk. However, this period didn't set her back from achieving her goals. It in fact made her realise what she really wanted and sparked the fire in her belly to make it happen. Fast forward a few months and there she was - standing on the podium as she won her first Iron Woman Title....
