25.01.2022 So I had the pleasure of capturing Millbrook Yallingup from the air last week. Situated in the most stunning part of the Yallinup region (Im a bit bias as used to live around the corner, but if you check out the clip Im sure youll agree). Its totally unique, incredibly beautiful and only a stones throw from the more well know parts of Yallingup such as Canal Rocks which youll see towards the end of the clip.

24.01.2022 I had a fabulous time photographing this beautiful family for the 2nd time as part of Rosina's birthday and mothers day celebrations. You can’t go past Boranup Forest as the perfect location for a photo shoot. Its always a pleasure to photograph you guys Rosina. I’ll look forward to the next time whenever that may be.

24.01.2022 Heres a quick edit of 10 Mile Lagoon which is a ten minute drive from the Esperance town centre. Absolutely stunning. These must be some of the best beaches in the world. Thanks to Karen Faries Kerlin who waited patiently while I was enjoying flying the drone. In saying that, the bit at the end was more scary than enjoyable, but worth it.

23.01.2022 As you can tell from these photos the Dunsborough Primary School graduation disco went off like a frog in a sock and the kids had an absolute ball. If youre friends with any parents of the kids in these photos please tag them so they can have look. To all the parents, these plus another 300 or so photos have been saved to folders in dropbox and an email with links to the photos will be sent to you shortly. You will all be able to save them to your computer and print at your leisure if you wish. Im not sure that every kid was photographed as I concentrated on the dance floor. If there are any parents who would prefer that a photo wasnt on Facebook let me know and Ill remove. Cheers. Pete.

21.01.2022 A quick sneak peak for Chantelle Fontana and Simon who’s wedding I photographed on Friday at Sanctuary Golf Resort. What an awesome day. Soooooooooooo much fun. Thanks to the staff at the resort who bent over backwards to help us out all day and to videographer Frans from Studio 777. Great to work with you again mate. Most of all a huge thanks to Chantelle, Simon, their bridal party and the Fontana family. I photographed Chantelle’s sisters wedding a few years back and once again they made me feel so so welcome making my job a pleasure.

21.01.2022 I had an awesome day with Emily and Justin at the stunning Dalmore Farm near Bridgetown. Dalmore Farms a relatively new wedding venue and is one of the prettiest spots in the South West. Emily was nearly 6 months pregnant, but you wouldnt have known it as we wondered around the farm taking photos. She then backed it up busting a move on the dance floor with her guests. It was heaps of fun. Not only did we have a stunning spot with endless photo opportunities but we also had... the best man wearing unicorn mask (I know theres a story there somewhere?) and Justins new brother and father in law wielding rifles as if to encourage him to do the right thing by Emily! 19.01.2022 So, what does a photographer do when not shooting weddings, portraits, real estate or corporate shots? I share a fantastic adventure with my 10 year old daughter Finn and my sister Julia Lewis at Perisher! Snowmen, snowboarding, ski fields, a broken wrist (brave Finn) and AMAZING scenery. My plan is to head back in the next few years and climb Australias Ten Highest Peaks in Kosciuszko National Park http://www.aussie10.com/. Im now back to work and looking forward to sharing wedding days with my clients in 2018/2019/2020. Finally, I am planning a portrait weekend in Perth, so you can start thinking of ideas for Christmas gifts. Look out for the date!

18.01.2022 I photographed Melissa and Ben’s wedding back in 2016 and as you can see they’ve been busy beavers since then. I had the pleasure of photographing them again a couple of years ago when they had expanded a little bit, but now they’ve expanded again! It was great to catch up again, and their lovely boys were an absolute pleasure to photograph. As you can see the gum boot theme has continued.. For a couple of photos at leastGotta keep up with tradition! I’ll look forward to the next time we catch up where I hope the gum boots will come out again!

They (and their awesome bridal party) were so easy going and enthusiastic about their photos which makes my job so much easier and more enjoyable. 13.01.2022 A fabulous time was had by all at Rikki and Stefans wedding at the stunning Aravina Estate recently. Lovely celebrant Jennifer Etherington was on hand to marry the happy couple, after which the Rikki and Stefan were congratulated by their guests. A fun photo session followed thanks to the awesome bridal party who were up for anything and as a result were an absolute hoot to photograph. The Aravina staff then spoilt everyone at the reception where guests from New Zealand perf...ormed an amazing Hakka in celebration of Rikki and Stefans union. Thanks for having me along guys. 10.01.2022 I had a lovely morning with Laurens and Grace at Indijup Beach. Laurens popped the question while they were here on holiday from Singapore and as you can see from the photos Grace gave him the answer he was hoping for :-) Theyre also expecting their first child in a few months so its all systems go. Congratulations guys.

10.01.2022 On a sunny day this would have to be one of the most spectacular bicycle paths on the planet. It runs west from Esperance for 10 or 15kms and the whole lot is alongside beaches just like these. Stunning!

09.01.2022 What an awesome day with Stacey and Marty at Staceys dads farm near Harvey. Set amongst natural bush with their adorable twin daughters on hand who kinda stole the show. As you can see from the photos there was a whole lotta love getting thrown around while everyone congratulated the happy couple. We then set off for some photos at a neighbours lake and I dragged the bridal party through a fence to a lovely wooded area, that I promised would be worth the effort?????????? Th...en back for a celebration on a dance floor under the stars where the bridal party and guests busted a move. It was great to see some familiar faces from previous weddings too. 06.01.2022 Can you feel the love? Because there was a bucket load of it getting thrown around at Deanne and Natashas wedding at Wise Wines. It was an emotional and intimate occasion with only family members present. A huge party was held a few days later where they surprised their friends, which I heard was also a great success. Lovely celebrant Wendy Grace Hendry was on hand to marry the beautiful couple and as always Wise Winery turned on the charm and spoilt all of the guests. Thank...s for having me girls. 06.01.2022 Summer is finally here, or at least on its way and Pt Picquet was the perfect spot to photograph the lovely Mel, Ben and Wesley on the weekend. I photographed Mel and Bens wedding a couple of years ago so it was great to see them again and meet the new man in their lives. Wesley is just adorable and was one of the easiest babies Ive ever photographed. No winging whining or complaining at all. Just a big old smile :-)

05.01.2022 Thanks to Nicole at Coast to Country Weddings for posting another wedding story. This was Michelle and Blaires gorgeous, intimate wedding on the shores of Geographe Bay, all capped off with a Trash The Dress shoot. So much fun! Thanks for taking the time to share your story Michelle.

04.01.2022 I just had a quick road trip through the Pilbara region of Western Australia. I caught up with my nephew Tom Lewis in Karratha and with Adam McWilliams in Paraburdoo. Thanks for having me guys. Great to see you both, and of course Lex and Danielle. I took my drone with me to get a birds eye view and ended up with this footage. It starts in Karratha on Tom’s boat then onto Horseshoe Gorge, Millstream, Wittenoom (which is basically a ghost town), Karijini, Mt Bruce and some m...ore isolated mountains. Its a stunning, remote part of the world that I've never had the chance to explore before. If you have the time to watch it this link will take you to a much better quality version (It might look pretty shitty of facebook but if you click on the gear wheel and choose HD or 1080 it'll look ok). 04.01.2022 Heres how not to treat your brand new drone thats fresh out of the box. I spent a week in Esperance with my beautiful and oh so patient partner Karen Faries Kerlin. First flight was to test the Active track mode to see if the drone could follow my car. The stupid pilot (me!) turns the safety sensors off, so the drone can fly faster and keep up with the car. Nothing for me to hit I thought!!!!!!!!!!! Its a testament to the build quality of the drone that it wasnt damaged i...n the slightest. Very very lucky and very relieved! The second instance turned out to be worth the risk because the footage looks pretty cool. A couple of metres lower though and the drone wouldve ended up at the bottom of the deep blue, or at least smashed to bits on the reef! We had a fabulous week and Karen very graciously put up with my constant requests for her to do this that and the other while I filmed her with the drone. We got some nice footage so Ill post some of it when I find some time to do some editing.

03.01.2022 What a fabulous couple of days spent with Mel and Dan. Firstly their wedding day, chilled out and bare foot on the beach at Bunker Bay. The clouds couldnt put a dampner on things, and after a week of heat it cooled down at the perfect time. As well as Mel, Dan and their kids, a lovely bridal party made my job easy and we had a ball during taking photos, a couple of the girls getting a little carried away in the water as can see from the photos. Pullman Bunker Bay Resort turn...ed it on for the reception, kept the scrumptious food and drink coming, and everyone partied the night away. A couple of days later Mel and Dan decided to have a Trash The Dress Shoot. The ocean didnt behave as we had asked, and rather than the calm mill pond we had ordered the swell picked up and sent big waves dumping onto the sand. Not the type of couple to whinge and complain Mel and Dan rolled their sleeves up and got amongst it, taking beatings from the surf in their stride and having a ball regardless. As you can see from the photos, not only was it a lovely, fun wedding but the reception was one hell of a party. 02.01.2022 A few photos of Canal Rocks. Its been pretty wild there for the past few days. Hard to get a photo due to all of the spray off the ocean on my lens. Also hard to keep a tripod steady in the wind! The second two were taken with the drone a week ago before the storms hit.

01.01.2022 It was great to be a part of a lovely chilled out wedding with Linda and Kim at the Busselton Baptist campsite, on the shores of Geographe Bay.
