25.01.2022 Dont explode your exhaust box

24.01.2022 Groundbreaking. Courageous. Deeply inspiring. These characteristics, and many more alike, only start to describe the extraordinary woman that was Winifred Winn...ie Wells. We pay tribute to a remarkable life filled with adventure, exploration and discovery. An Australian motorcycling trailblazer, Winnie was the first woman to accomplish two ground-breaking trans-continental journeys back in the early 1950s. At a mere 22-years-old, Winnie completed an epic 5,504 mile solo journey across the entire width of Australia and back again, from Perth to Sydney on a Bullet 350cc, taking only 21 days. Less than two years later, Winnie embarked on an even greater challenge: circumnavigating the entire Australian continent, covering 10,000 miles over the course of 65 Days. Traversing scorched deserts, navigating remote bush tracks and battling the extreme harshness of the great Australian outback during the height of Summer, Winnie overcame it all with an insatiable spirit of wanderlust. Equipped with simple saddlebags, a strapped down suitcase, and kitted out in breeches, boots, a leather jacket, and an aged tweed cap - Winnies bold, resolute and pioneering motorcycling adventures are the stuff of true legend. Winifred Winnie Wells passed away on 1 February 2020, aged 92. She was, undeniably, a shining star who will inspire countless others for decades to come.

05.01.2022 Since our inaugural year in 2012, The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride has run on the last Sunday of September. For 9 long years, many of us have steadfastly ridd...en in rain and wind; dedicated to raising funds and awareness of prostate cancer and men’s mental health. Then 2020 came, and DGR changed for a moment. Riding solo, we raised an incredible amount for Movember, and came closer together as a community, sharing our stories and connections to the cause. We know how important it is to physically connect with our community, so we’re taking a turn in 2021 to bring us together, sooner to celebrate 10 years of DGR. The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride from 2021 will permanently move to May, with the next ride being held on Sunday, May 23, 2021. This is a significant change that has been decided on due to overwhelming feedback from our riders and volunteer hosts from around the world, based on the impact that the weather has had on the safety of our events in recent years. You can preregister for the DGR 2021 now, with registrations opening from late-March. So, don’t put your tweed away just yet, you’ll need it again to ride dapper for men’s health on May 23rd, 2021! Save the date and prepare to celebrate 10 years of DGR on May 23rd, 2021!
