24.01.2022 We have begun a process that will lead our parish towards creating a 5-year strategic plan. Planning is an important task as our parish looks towards becoming more intentional about building a culture of welcome and missionary discipleship in this part of the world. We want a healthy parish a parish that’s growing and thriving and where everyone can find a place where they belong and they are loved. Where many hands are at work, sharing the tasks based on individual strengths and passions. And we want all of you to get involved! Please look to our newsletter, announcements across our 4 masses. 23.01.2022 It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at St. Bernardine’s. We even had the newly ordained Deacon Jack Ho give us a hand in putting the decorations up. Thank you Jack!

20.01.2022 Unfortunately, due to the Brisbane lockdown extension, tomorrow morning's Mass of Thanksgiving has been postponed. We're hopeful that it can be rescheduled to the following Saturday, 10 July at 10am (still at St Mary's Ipswich) but will need to wait for tomorrow morning's government announcements before we can confirm any details. Once again, sorry for the muck around with the schedule, we appreciate your patience. We hope these plans not to change.

15.01.2022 Well, this year might have been different but it sure did go very quick. Join us this coming Saturday at 6 PM for our last Youth Mass for the year. Make sure to stay back afterwards for Sausage Sizzle and refreshments. **We have choir practice at 5 PM for those who are or want to be part of the music ministry.

05.01.2022 The Church year commences this weekend with the first Sunday of Advent. So we prepare to light our first candle of Advent. Did you know we light the first candle to symbolise hope and expectation? If you have ordered an Adore book or Columbian Calendar they are in the office for you, or have been sent to the Mass you normally attend. We also have Break Open the Word books for those of you that read for us at Mass. Contact the office if needed.
