23.01.2022 With the green light for tennis competition to return in Victoria, the NEJTA is pleased to announce our current plans for the Spring 2020 season. We are hoping ...for the season to begin on 15 August and run for 10 rounds plus finals with six teams per section. All teams must be finalised and entered by 15 July and this is also the date that all transfer forms must be submitted. Please contact your local club if you wish to register for the Spring 2020 season.

19.01.2022 As we enter the last month of the current junior season, the club is in the process of selecting teams for the NEJTA Autumn season commencing Term 1, 2019. Please follow the link below to enter your child's intentions for the new season. This year, forms can be submitted electronically and only take a couple of minutes to complete. 19.01.2022 Every young player should read this. The importance of losing..... EDUCATION - You will learn more from your loses than your wins.... CHARACTER - You will hurt and suffer from your loses, you will also get back up and keep going, this builds character. APPRECIATION - You will learn to appreciate your wins and cherish them after you lose. RESILIENCE - You will develop a tough mentality through losing and fighting back. You know it hurts and how it makes you feel and you wont want to go there. You will learn to fight for every point, you will become resilient through your loses. If you are afraid of playing matches in case you lose, you wont get far. Be afraid of not learning, be afraid of not improving, be afraid of not giving your best. This is the attitude every young player should aspire to have; " When I walk on court, I do so knowing I am willing to do all I can to play my best and be my best self. Winning and losing are both options, whatever one happens, I will know I have done my best"

13.01.2022 NEJTA semi finals details have been emailed to all juniors. 12 out of 14 Regent teams have made it through, what a wonderful achievement by our juniors. Good luck to all teams next Saturday!

12.01.2022 The NEJTA Spring Season commences on Saturday 22nd of July. There is no matches scheduled on the 23/9. 30/9, 07/10 (school holidays) and 04/11 (Melbourne Cup Public Holiday). Semi finals are scheduled for the 25/11 and the grand final on the 02/12 (09/12 is the spare week for the grand final). Emails have been sent to all juniors participating in the upcoming season including team lists and fixtures.

12.01.2022 Dear Members, Due to the new stage 4 restrictions it is with great sadness to inform you that unfortunately the club will be closed again until further notice. On another note, our annual general meeting scheduled for this Saturday the 8th of August will also be cancelled until further notice.... Stay safe guys and we hope to be playing again very soon. 09.01.2022 Congratulations to all the Regent teams who participated in finals yesterday. Girls 7, Boys 10 and 12 have made it through to the NEJTA grand finals next week. Emails will be sent out advising of venues during the week. The Spring season of juniors will commence after the Term 2 school holidays. Teams and venues will be confirmed during the holidays.

08.01.2022 NEJTA Spring season commences Saturday 21st of July. The club is awaiting confirmation of the fixture. Emails with further details will be sent out shortly to all players.

07.01.2022 Here are the ladders after Round 4 of the NEJTA Spring Season. Regent TC has 8 teams in the top 4 of their section! Just a reminder that washout notifications can be viewed at http://trols.org.au/nejta/index.php Please check this page 45mins before your scheduled match time. All payers are required to attend the venue if there is no notification on the Trols website, even if it's raining! Team managers are aware of procedures and will notify their team if a washout has been ...declared. Hopefully the weather holds up tomorrow! Goodluck to all teams!

01.01.2022 Congratulations to Regent Girls 7, Boys 10 and Boys 12 for winning their respective Grand Finals on Saturday. Thank-you to all juniors on another wonderful season of tennis. We look forward to seeing everyone return after the school holidays for the commencement of the Spring season. Enjoy a well deserved break!!
