04.01.2022 Isn’t it funny how butterflies start off as ugly af little grubs until they transform... I wrote second hand soul during the lockdowns, I know it’s deep, but sometimes we need to talk about the things people never want to talk about. At the time I’d lost a huge opportunity to perform overseas, one of my friends from school passed away, and whenever I turned on the TV there was news of racism, violence, and death. I was literally feeling pretty embarrassed to be human at that point... but hopefully just like the butterfly we can transform this world into something beautiful hopefully my music can help that, that’s the goal anyway if you have any questions about the song lyrics or production please hit me up in the comments
