25.01.2022 I have been waiting as long as I can to make the final call and today we have decided to move Sculpture at Acheron to Easter 2021 due to the ongoing COVID lockd...own restrictions. The gardens are beautiful in Autumn and we will hopefully be able to share the event with all of Victoria by then. Please contact me with any questions. Marian

24.01.2022 ... a few people have brought to my attention that they are having trouble finding my shop and purchasing my products on Redbubble ... Log onto www.redbubble.com and type MarianRennie into the search bar ... this should take you to ... view shop ... once you are into my shop select a design, click on it and that will take you to the page of that design .. scroll down to where is says .... also available on +50 products ... this number may vary, 50 is just a example ... click on there and hopefully it should take you to all products ... including face masks ... please contact me if you have an problems as I am more than happy to help ...

23.01.2022 ... and finally #3 of my marine trio ... seahorses are such delicate creatures and the background is the other side of the rusty tank on the farm ... available at my shop on Redbubble ... I think a mix and match of the three designs would look great ...

22.01.2022 CHANGE OF DATE FOR FINAL SUBMISSIONS CLOSING DATE FOR SUBMISSIONS is extended until October 20th as we are being as flexible as possible in these Covid days ... and worst case scenario we will move the exhibition dates forward to accomodate lockdown. SCULPTURE AT ACHERON will be going ahead this year ...we would love you to put in your submissions ... no need to pay entry fees at this stage as they will be payable at the time of the exhibition ... we have everything crossed!...!! Given what we have all been through in these pandemic times we believe our outdoor exhibition will be provide a much needed breath of fresh air and some welcome relief for the public to enjoy. So we are asking you, as sculptors and artists to come onboard and support this years show and exhibition. Please share with your networks to help us make this happen. 16.01.2022 ... with all of the uncertainty surrounding us these days we have made the decision to press on with plans for our upcoming 2020 Sculpture at Acheron late Octob...er and through November. Love to hear from any artists/sculptors that would like to join us in the gardens here. ALL ENTRY FEES WILL BE REFUNDED IF THE SHOW IS UNABLE TO PROCEED DUE TO COVID-19 ... 01.01.2022 I am reposting this as at the time of posting I was waiting to hear back from Menzies Support Services, Dame Pattie Menzies Centre and happy to say it is all in... place and happening ... 15% of all sales will go to Menzies Support Services, Dame Pattie Menzies Centre, a fabulous local organisation that provides a much needed service in our small country town. It is definitely time to start thinking about something very special for Christmas this year after ... what can I say ... one hell of a year!!!!! In many ways it has been kind to me as more painting than I have managed for such a long time and that has been the source of much joy for me ... I love working at my easel .. these three images are from exactly that .. my easel ... they are the result of my brush cleaning for over 35 years on the same board, the one that I clamp my pieces of canvas to when I am painting ... I paint on unstretched canvas so that when I finally stretch my work the image wraps around the edges of the stretcher. The layers of paint and texture in these images tell the story of many paintings. Available as set of three or as individual works on canvas and/or 320 gsm archival cotton rag paper .. image size 25 x 33cm. Custom sizes are available both larger and smaller by quotation. Canvas works will require stretching and paper works will require framing, but I am here to assist with this as needed. Set of three on canvas ... $400 Set of three on paper ... $310 Individual work on canvas ... $150 Individual work on paper ... $120 Plus postage and handling as required.
