10.01.2022 "Trains Can Fly" is about my trip on the Indian Pacific from Melbourne to Perth 1971. It's an account of meeting an old geezer on train who I smoked a joint with....man that train really took off! This song got very restricted airplay in NZ 1976 because the word 'marijuana' was mentioned (on NZBC). However it got high rotation on Pirate radio Hauraki.... Became like an underground mini hit, and opened doors to festivals and the Nambassa movement. Here it is performed Live at Bindoon Rock Festival Western Australia 1986
