10.01.2022 MELBOURNE LOCKDOWN UPDATE: Piano Sections 1 - 10 Re-scheduled Dear Eisteddfod Supporter, Due to the Melbourne Lockdown announcement, this weekend's Eisteddfod events have been postponed. This affects Pianoforte sections 1 to 10. ... Fortunately, our venue Maroondah Federation Estate have made extra time and rooms available for us over the Queens Birthday Weekend, June 12 - 14. This should allow for good flow and good finish time for all sections. The Eisteddfod team are working hard and committed to making it possible for each entrant to have the opportunity to perform. Please see the chart attached for the NEW proposed times. The admin team will be in touch with entrants for each section to confirm the times. All other sections will proceed as programmed. Audience may be limited to one person per contestant - but please watch the emails closer to the date for confirmation of this. Hopefully the new times will not be too inconvenient for you. Enquiries can be sent to [email protected] but please be patient as we manage these changes. Please allow some time for us to get back to you. 04.01.2022 Announcement from the President Dear Supporters, It is with much disappointment that we announce the postponement of this year's Ringwood Eisteddfod to 2021.... The Ringwood Eisteddfod has continued for 66 years and has had outstanding community and sponsor support. I am very grateful for the work of volunteers and committee members in the planning for this year. Due to uncertainties, and with the Committee's support, I felt it best to postpone till next year. I have arranged refunds for any bookings that may have been processed through TryBooking. Any questions can be directed to [email protected] The Committee and I are passionate about the Eisteddfod's benefit to young musicians and hope that you will all be able to encourage music performance in the meantime. Looking forward to advising dates for next year. Yours Gratefully, Bernie Capicchiano, President.
