23.01.2022 Hi there folks. Just a note to let you all know that as we have finally found someone to take over the lease on the shopfront, we will be opening the doors this weekend and selling off any remaining stock, fittings, anything shop related, as well as furniture, electronics, speakers, bike parts, dvds, clothes etc - basically anything that is left in the space, is up for grabs. This is more of a garage sale concept than a final weekend for the shop. No curation here, so come expecting to have a dig and probably find some questionable items as this will predominantly be items that didn't really suit the shop at the time. Hours 10-4 ish both saturday and sunday. No set prices - just make an offer and we'll probably take it. And feel free to share this around, if you're so inclined. Thanks.

14.01.2022 We are looking to hold a garage sale/market in the old ritual space on sunday, august 11, running from 10am-4pm. $50 secures you a table and you can bring your old records, clothes, books, whatever to sell. Advertising will be done across various social media outlets, and via physical flyering. If you would be interested in participating, email [email protected] to secure a table. For the first event, tables will be limited to 10, so first come, first served. Thanks.

10.01.2022 This stuff is still up for grabs. 7" rack that can easily be converted to LP rack, back to back LP display which can be one bin if you remove the middle divider, and CD displays/racks. All hand made. Last chance before I ditch em. Also have the individual LP boxes used in the front window display, LP mailers, 7" post-consumer recycled 7" /CD sized bags, LP and 7" sleeves, cheap stylus' and the shirt off my back (kidding).

I am on tour for two weeks after this week, so if you can't make it in over the next 7 days it will have to be mid july.Thanks.

06.01.2022 Thanks so much to all the incredible humans who made the effort to come out yesterday to see the shop off. Many a doom record was played and many a beer was drunk - and most importantly, so many good heads through the door. Any doubts I had about this city's love and dedication to music have been lifted, so thank you - more than I can possibly express. Consignment will be worked out this week, and the remainder of the stock will find its way to the shelves of Missing Link/Col...lector's Corner and Round and Round - so if there's anything you missed, you can now grab it from those fine establishments. This page will stay up and the Ritual/website etc will remain where I will run a very sporadic/small scale distro with occasional pop-up stalls, so if you're interested in keeping across that and my whereabouts, just continue to like this page. Once again, thanks for the coffees, beers, hugs, chats, support, friendship and your patronage. Every one of you helped make the place what it was. x

01.01.2022 Hello guys and girls, Just a short note to let you good people know that due to some recently arisen personal/family issues, I have had to seriously consider my ability to continue Ritual going forward, and after much thought, I have had to decide that Saturday, June 8 will be the final day of trading for the store. The stock will be going to a good home (I just need to work out where that is yet) but in the meantime, if you want to drink a coffee, pat the beagle, have a chat... or better yet, pick up a record and help make a dent in the considerable amount of debt I have accumulated running this place, then you have a few days left to do it. Consignment folks, email [email protected] and we'll work it all out; and (considering this is probably the extent of the eulogy this place will get because we were always mysteriously absent from any Australian music publication, physical or otherwise) if you could pass this on to friends/relevant people that would be great. To the supporters, I can't adequately express how much your support meant to me, I've made a lot of great friends and met a lot of great people doing this, so let's just hug it out when I see you next.
