06.01.2022 VACANCY | DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKER Riverlands Disability Support is looking for candidates for the role of Disability Support Worker. Would you like to join our team and assist in providing staff for registered NDIS Providers?... This role will be providing support to people with intellectual/physical disabilities, and tasks will include: - Personal care, including hygiene needs - Medication administration - Manual handling - Use of hoist, shower chair, wheelchair - General domestic duties - Preparing meals - Driving residents to appointments, day programs and outings - Support with assistive technology - Social support For an applicant to be considered for the role, you must have the following: - 6 months experience in supporting clients with a disability - Certificate III in disability or working towards - Great communication skills, both written and verbal - Excellent time management skills - A smart phone - Good computer skills - A current First Aid Certificate issued within last 3 years. - CPR certificate issued within last 12 months - A current FULL NSW driver's license - Willingness to travel to different locations - Valid Police Check - NDIS worker screening check or willingness to obtain before starting - 2 contactable references - Prepared to work at least 3 shifts per week - Eligible to work in Australia To apply, please message our Facebook or Instagram page, or email [email protected] with your resume & cover letter.
