15.01.2022 Police are speaking to a number of teenagers over a fire that destroyed 10 homes at Peregian Beach on Queensland's Sunshine Coast overnight, as more residents are told to leave immediately and avoid the area. The devastation and trauma that these teenagers have caused...I just have no words for this... Thank goodness John and our caravan are safe on our friends property just south of Yandina. ... https://mobile.abc.net.au//sunshine-coast-bushfir/11494636

13.01.2022 Take care of yourselves and your family folks

09.01.2022 While staying at the last caravan park we took the opportunity to fit two containers to the caravan and finished the job last night. We headed north this morning and was settled in at 90kmh on the motorway when the truck up ahead lost a length of pipe off the back of his tray, it bounced up in the air and came straight towards us so we swerved into the right lane,(that was fun with 24ft van on the back) We stopped on the side of the motorway but couldn’t see where the pipe had hit us so continued on. We have just stopped for breakfast and just noticed our new jerry can which saved the van from damage. Lucky I think

01.01.2022 Lovely falls on a warm day...

01.01.2022 I took this photo today west of Dubbo, NSW with visibility going to almost zero from a dust storm caused by the ongoing drought. This drought is crippling a lot... of small regional towns and the best way to help is pack up your caravan or camper and go camping west. The further west the better and spend some money in these small towns. Don’t stock up before you leave, buy your fuel, food, coffee ect locally and help keep these towns kicking. - - - #tawk #caravanningwithkids #visitnsw #travelnsw #drought2019 See more
