25.01.2022 Following the State Government's release of the roadmap for reopening, playgrounds and outdoor gym equipment across Campaspe Shire will reopen from today. Social distancing and the wearing of a face mask still apply.

22.01.2022 Thanks to our Friends at F.P.Nevins & Co Pty Ltd who have kindly offered to have the little houses available to the public while we are not open. Call in and see the girls and grab a house to decorate. We look forward to seeing the decorated homes.

20.01.2022 Another example of the amazing work people are doing on our Home in Rochy project. We still have houses available, however we are only open Tuesday’s 9-12. We are trying to work out a way that we can make the houses available to pick up and decorate more often.

20.01.2022 Campaspe Seniors on the Move Program Update. Unfortunately we have decided to discontinue this program. We will be in contact with participants in the coming days to organise the POST Survey which will need to be completed by all participants. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has participated in the program. As per the attached flyer we hope to resume our regular classes in 2021.

16.01.2022 WANTED. We need to make more little houses for out Home in Rochy project. If you have any old 4x4 verandah type posts laying around please contact us. We would love to have our men’s shed members make them into more houses. Thank you.

12.01.2022 In conjunction with the Northern Victoria LGBTQIA+ Hub, We are making a short educational film for a Anti- Bullying campaign which will be shown on Youth e an H...opfully in schools. We are looking at exposing the truth of what it’s like for young people who identify as LGBTQIA+ in small country towns and showing through film their experiences. We are looking for young people aged 16-18 years, any colour, race or gender to participate in the film. Young people of the LGBTQIA+ community or Allies. (People who support the LGBTQIA+) No acting requirements needed. If you are passionate about awareness for mental health and equality then you are right for this short film. None of this edited safe version to show in schools. This will be a jaw dropping truth exposed about bullying. Filming will take place on Saturday 16th of January, 2021 (can be flexible on date depending on numbers of people who are interested) Filming to be in or around Rochester, Lockington & Echuca areas Only Looking for ten people to be in the short film. 10.01.2022 Casanova coffee will be having there annual fundraiser again this year at 68!high street 5.30-9.30pm on Christmas Eve. Santa will be visiting for photos with treats for the kids before he heads of to make his deliveries. So stop on by grab a coffee or milkshake and say hi to Santa.

10.01.2022 You can now see our Tiny Homes on display in the Arcade on Gillies st. There are some amazing homes with so much detail on them so be sure to stop and have a look! If you would like to decorate a tiny home you can collect one from FP Nevins, right next door to our display. To put your tiny home on display, please return it to Rochester community house on Tuesday between 9am & 12pm

10.01.2022 Very disappointed in seeing this at the skate park this morning. There is a rubbish bin just near the bullring but apparently that is too far away for some lazy people. #putitinthebinpeople

08.01.2022 We can no longer take your soft plastics for recycling. We are in the process of investigating what we can do to continue this much needed service to our community.

07.01.2022 We absolutely love this latest addition to the Homes in Rochy. However there is no name on the bottom so we don’t know who the very talented person is that created this masterpiece. Remember there are houses available from F.P.Nevins & Co Pty Ltd for people to take and decorate in any way you like. The houses will eventually be put on display at the court house, the future home of the community garden, a joint project between @rotary club of Rochester and ourselves.

Money raised tonight will go towards our foodshare program which provides food for free to locals in need. It may surprise you to know that this program actually costs us approx $3000 to deliver. Any donations are always greatly appreciated. We hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and Santa visits your house tonight.

02.01.2022 As 2020 draws to a close we would like to thank you all for your support during what is definitely a year to be remembered! We will be closed from December 18th, reopening January the 18h with Food Share resuming on January the 19th. Our Term 1 classes and groups will be resuming from February the 1st (dependent on tutor availabilities, participant numbers and any relevant Covid-19 rules/restrictions that we must adhere to) We wish you all a very Safe and Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing you in 2021!
