07.01.2022 This weekend we launched RYLA Oceania! 'RYLA' stands for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards. RYLA is an intensive leadership experience organised by Rotary club...s and districts offering personal and professional development for young leaders in their community. Am pleased to share an extensive RYLA project I've been leading has reached launch stage. Kicking off in January 2020 will be the first ever RYLA Oceania Program! The RYLA Oceania Program is an advanced RYLA program for alumni of District RYLAs across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific Islands. The program encompasses an advanced leadership curriculum, mentoring program and a tangible community project, preparing participants with the knowledge and skills to effect great change. Check out the overview in the images below. We have already had over 50 people express their interest in applying for the inaugural event! Don't want a fine? Come down to the end of Vivian Street to park with Rotary BIW! We will then shuttle bus you up to the venue and pick you up after. Just follow the signs.
