17.01.2022 Commanders Expectations As we reflect on the year just past, not on the good and bad experiences, but as stepping stone to a new year in serving Our Lord, Jesus Christ. Do not look at a child in their current circumstances or attitudes, but ask God to show you their potential. He has placed in us all the seeds that need to be watered and harvested. God works on our potential, if we let Him. As a Royal Ranger, we have been chosen to serve in the Army of The King of Kings and ...Lord of Lords. Before God formed me, He knew me. Before I was born, God set me apart. (Jeremiah 1:5) As a Royal Ranger we are: The Best of the Best because we are created in God’s image. So God created man in his own image. (Gen 1:27) and we can do all things in Christ who strengthens us (Phil 4:13) So be an instrument of God, helping Him work towards the children gaining their full potential. The tools we use in Royal Rangers to do this are taken from the Bible. They are: Outpost No 9 Creed; Royal Ranger Pledge; Golden Rule; Royal Ranger Motto; Royal Ranger Code; God’s Armor; Our weapons are The Fruits of the Spirit You will find that as you become Gods instrument, you will develop your potential also. May I encourage you to be as a child and let God make use of you? Live by the Outpost Creed; Ranger Pledge; Golden Rule; Motto; Code; Put on God’s Armor daily and Implement the Fruits of the Spirit in your daily life. See how God opens the potential in you to serve Him. I look forward to serving with you in 2020 and to make this year, a year where we unlock the potential in us all. Commander Vic

16.01.2022 Dear Parents and Ranger, I trust you have all been well and adjusting to the new restrictions we have been asked to observe. For me it has been a time of reflection and looking at new opportunities for Royal Rangers. There are two immediate hurdles that we will need to get over. These are: 1. Due to the current restriction, we do not anticipate Royal Ranger starting until the third term. This will be subject to the Government relaxing the current Covic-19 distancing requireme...nts. 2. We will require a minimum of 6 commanders to operate in our current format on a Friday night. On both these points I ask for your support in prayer. With regards to the Covic-19 requirements, that God will give us wisdom in complying with the requirements. With regards to new commanders, that God will place in our hearts, the desire to service in His Kingdom. How to sow the seeds into children to be a Christian in today’s world. If God is pulling at your heart to serve, take the step and let me know. Contact Freshwater Church and leave your details. I will contact you.
