20.01.2022 Dear Friends of Thats Amore I have something I'd like to share.....as you know my nephew Jai has had a very long battle with cancer. You, our friends have so g...enerously and graciously helped us raise money to support Jai with his treatment during this time and not to mention contributed towards his wedding. I feel honoured that you have all been so willing to help. I am grateful and humbled to call you friends. Jai has just had an operation to remove a tumour that was pressing against his brain, he was suffering with headaches that had become debilitating in a short period of time. The surgery went well but unfortunately scans have shown that there are more tumours throughout his body. Once Jai has healed he will be able to try a new treatment in the hope that it will improve his health and probably rid him of the remaining tumours. The cost of this is $12,000.00. I am not asking for donations or help with fund raising but I have decided to give $5.00 from every meal to Jai to help with the cost, so , if you feel like a night out, a takeaway pizza or even just a coffee and dessert, we'd love to see you! ...and remember, when you are sitting back with a full belly be twice as happy because You are helping this beautiful young man with his treatment.
