16.01.2022 The Halloween season is a fun and exciting time of the year for kids and parents to create unique costumes that represent a fun idea, theme or favourite character from a book, movie or TV show! "Dress up allows children to dream, hope and use their imagination. It gives kids permission to pretend to be someone or something different and extraordinary that reflects their personality and current interests. It builds vocabulary, problem solving and emotional development, motor s...kills, imagination and socialisation" Here are some photos to show how much of a great day we had at Samanthas!

15.01.2022 Samanthas Camberwell have well and truly settled back after too long away due to Stage 4 lockdown. We also welcomed Eva, a new addition to the management team. She has been meeting and welcoming all the families back at the front desk! The children have loved exploring their new room set ups and experiences and seeing all of their mates again. ... We sure are delighted to have our team and families back together During the lockdown our wonderful team provided home learning packs and had remote learning over zoom for families to ensure our educational program was still in place! The children have taken part in so many activities, while settling back into our routine. We have being focusing on socio-emotional skills and capabilities, revisiting our sense of belonging and ownership of the environment! Our Nursery and Toddler Room had a busy time baking honey joys, and completing lots of arts and crafts which are displayed in the hallway and portfolios. Our 3 and 4 year old Kinder Rooms have being connecting back to their community, dressing up as their favourite storybook characters and sharing a book to their friends, and making fruit skewers! With the help of our wonderful team and families we had some spoontaculor new guests move in. Sammy's Spoonville has grown! Come and see and keep up to date and new spoons moving in! It's good to have everyone back, we missed you all!

10.01.2022 We say farewell to Baljinder as she finishes up at Samanthas today. Thank you so much for your patience, hard work and time in providing a friendly atmosphere for the children where they can learn and grow. Your kind and caring nature has had a huge impact on everyone!... We wish you the very best if luck in all your future endeavours.

09.01.2022 This week we dressed in Pink and donated much needed funds to help Cancer Council beat women's cancers. Everyone at Samanthas dressed in pink to raise awareness, as well as raise funds for prevention programs, support services and vital cancer research. Thank you to everyone who donated
