The kittens will be vaccinated, worm and flea treated, microchipped and desexed prior to being adopted, and you will have the peace of mind of not having to worry about another litter of kittens coming along. 14.01.2022 World meet MISSY: Could she get any cuter then this??? She was working those puppy dog eyes for her portraits. When she first came to us, she was a little sook. She still is but has gain alot of confidence while here in foster care. She knows her name. The most important command she has learnt HERE, but he has also learnt to SIT, DROP, TWRILL, CRAWL, TOUCH, walk on a lead. They are create trained. They all are so eager to learn and please. ... She along with her brothers have been taught with positive reinforcement and a praise word of "GOOD", as well as a, realise word of OKAY. We have been crate trained, and are getting better at going to the toilet on command. She has been an inside pup and really to cuddle up in someone lap. Otherwise she prefer to hang out in her create, instead of rough housing with the boys. She and her siblings (Monty & Murphy) will be available to adopt from the Devonport RSPCA Tasmania later next week.

11.01.2022 I cant decided can you... My yard is trashed, the kids refused to do the dishes and I hate cooking, the mopping has not been done in forever, the laundry is piling up and school is out and we cant carpool due to Covid-19...

He has learnt about manners to not jumping up on people or rushing through the door. He knows his name. The most important command he has learnt HERE, but he has also learnt to SIT, DROP, TWRILL, CRAWL, TOUCH, walk on a lead. He is just so eager to learn and please. He has been taught with positive reinforcement and a praise word of "GOOD", as well ...as a, realise word of OKAY. We have been crate trained, and are getting better at going to the toilet on command, but still, have the occasional accident being a puppy. He has been an inside pup and really like to stretch out infront of the fire. He and his siblings (Monty & Missy) will be available to adopt from the Devonport RSPCA Tasmania later next week.

08.01.2022 Hi All, I just wanted to touch base with you all, with an update of when our business will resume trading with the number of enquires increasing daily. While we would love to say yes, we open for business and bring your babies down. ... But the current situation with COVID-19 our business insurance would not cover us. We understand your frustration and disappointment with this delay. At present the advice remains the same, which is No unfortunately, due to unable to keep to the social distancing rules of 1.5m from all persons this includes newborn babies. For this reason, we cannot jeopardise they safety of a baby, not being within arms distance when photographing them. We shall keep checking in with the state agency, and hope that within the near future we can resume business and photograph all these babies which have been born during the lockdown. 07.01.2022 Meet Sadie and Sabrina, they came to stay with us in kitty foster care. When we picked them up they would not even come out of their create, without hissing they were really scared of humans. However with time, and force love on them from our children and pooch, they have really come out of their shells, but they will need to go into a lovely home that will give them time to adjust to their surroundings. These will be available for adoption from the RSPCA Devonport shortly.... If you know of someone who maybe interested, tag them or share the photos of the girls with them.

05.01.2022 Sometimes, the most important work that you will ever do, goes seemingly unnoticed. The recognition of new mothers is so minor, that often it comes disguised a...s being unappreciated. And let’s be honest. It doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. It’s easy to lose track of time. For an entire day to pass you by and you suddenly realise that you haven’t got a single thing done. The house is a mess. Your hair is a mess. Your mind is a mess. But productivity comes in a different form, these days. Being productive. Is sitting with your baby. Holding your baby. Loving your baby. Bonding with your baby. Understanding that nothing else matters, than supporting your baby through this difficult time of getting to know their bright and scary new world. And you’re navigating it together. You’re a team. You’re not working against each other. Their time of being this small and dependent on you is short. I cannot stress this enough. Although in the moment, it can feel like an eternity. In the grand scheme of things. It’s minuscule. And one day, not so very long from now, you will miss it. And you’ll look back at how far you’ve come. And you’ll understand. That as a mother, being productive looks different now. And the most important work you will have ever done, did not go unnoticed. In fact, it made you stronger. And helped to build you and your child into the people you are today. Try to enjoy it. Push aside the guilt of getting ‘nothing else’ done whilst you sit there together. Because rest assured; It IS the most important work that you will EVER do.

03.01.2022 MONTY DOG... This boy aims to please, his loyal and eager. He is a little helper esp in the kitchen he right with you. If you resting up watching a movie he is right at my feet. He is such a quick learner, he knows the sound of the rattle container (breath mints) means HERE right between your feet. He has also mastered SIT, DROP, TWRILL, CRAWL, TOUCH, walk on a lead. He is create trained and prefer to sleep in his create of a nighttime insided. ... He has been taught with positive reinforcement and a praise word of "GOOD", as well as a, realise word of OKAY. Were getting better at going to the toilet on command (PEE-PEE), but still, have the occasional accident inside. Monty really like to stretch out infront of the fire and hog it from his siblings. He and his siblings (Missy & Murphy) will be available to adopt from the Devonport RSPCA Tasmania this week, to their forever homes.

02.01.2022 All our foster kittens (Sadie, Sabrina, Grace and Gloria) are back at the RSPCA Tasmania Devonport office today. Hopefully they will find their forever homes quickly. These girls are so sweet, however will need a family who is going to given them some time to adjust first. As these girls are older then the normal tiny kittens we get, we put our own cats harness to use and would often take the girls outside for a stroll around the yard on the leads. Contact the Devonport RSPCA office to arrange a time to go and visit these girls.
