23.01.2022 The best thing by far about School Fun-Run is the way it brings families together in support of their school communities... But we also get share our own community with you guys and it's very much alive and well on our FB page. That is so awesome because you've really helped get us through this year. COVID has kept many communities apart which is really sad but our online connection with you has managed to grow stronger and that has meant a great deal to us as we love b...eing connected to you. THIS 'RECREATE CHASE' COMPETITION WAS RIDICULOUS! WE NEVER TOUGHT YOU GUYS WOULD GO TO THESE LENGTHS... BUT YOU DID! THANK YOU Everyone at the School Fun Run office has been blown away by your creativity and passion for this activity. Again, we thank you, and we hope you all had a brilliant time working as families to make your creations. This morning, the team here cast their votes. Amongst all the moans and groans... because it really was a heartbreaking job to choose just ONE winner... the entry with the most votes was Yew Jin. When I say the most votes, I mean winner by ONE vote because everyone voted for a different option however two people voted for Yew Jin; the competition was that good and the vote was that close! Yew Jin, could you please private message me your address and we will send the prizes ASAP. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO TOOK PART IN THIS COMP. YOU ARE JUST WONDERFUL TO US.
23.01.2022 Last week was amazing Fam-Bam! Fundraising can be a barometer for community and what we're seeing is amazing! I went to a few Fun Run's to help set up THE BIG SHOW in Qld and what I saw at all those events was inspiring. ... I saw (socially distanced) parents lining the school fence to support the children. It was pretty sad and very beautiful to see the parents there for their kids even though they weren't allowed on school grounds due to COVID-Safe plans. So many super mums and proud dads. So cool to see. The other thing that happened last week was that our schools raised a collective total of $480,000 in 7 days. That's awesome! How amazing is community??!! They're right behind the kids they love in 2020. In fact, our average amount raised per event up 51% on 2019 totals... and last year was a record setting year for our schools! Already this year Lindfield set a new record for us raising $91,858 and Milton then blew past that with $100,000+ Fun Run. What we're seeing this year is that people are all to willing to help out given the chance. Makes you proud to be an Aussie! It's been a real heartwarming week here at School Fun Run. 22.01.2022 GRACIAS Y'ALL! I wanted to again say a BIG thank you to all our schools who trusted in School Fun Run this year to get you safely through COVID-19 and hit your fundraising targets. You simply blew us away with your commitment to making HAPPYKIDS! NSW, QLD, ACT, WA, SA all set new highest fundraising records and of course a new national record was set with Milton Public's jaw dropping$114,058. ... Our schools have also donated over $140,000 to the Daniel Morcombe Foundation this year, which is really great as ‘Keeping Kids Safe’ has never been more relevant, especially online. So, a BIG thanks again to our partner schools (and the amazing team at School Fun Run... us...) for making something great happen in a difficult year. All finished of with being named 2020 Fundraising Company of the Year! BRING ON 2021... cause we can't wait to play our role again for you all next year! We love making HAPPYKIDS and redefining fundraising culture!

This year, we've had a school raise over $100k, another over $90k, another over $70k, a few over $60k, a lot in the $50k area, more in the $40k's & $30k's and heaps more again in the $20k's & $10k's.... ... BUT none have finished between $80-$89k - UNTIL NOW!!!! ... Well done to all our schools during COVID. You've now completed the whole set of ranges from $10k to $100k --- and that's never happened in a calendar year before at School Fun-Run. 16.01.2022 It's official $114,058 is a new Australian record for the highest amount raised in a single School Fun Run. Back in 1987, School Fun Run was founded with a vision to help a school raise over $100,000 in a single event. Thanks to the people who supported the Milton community, this year that goal has been reached. ... Just took 33 years! What a truly remarkable moment for School Fun Run! Normally we spend our days trying to make memories for students, parents and teachers to cherish... But today you gave us one back. THANK YOU Milton Public School

16.01.2022 COMPETITION TIME!!!! ***WIN A LENOVO TABLET*** We are having a ball re-branding our school read-a-thon. The goal is to make it even more engaging for students. This new reading based fundraiser is called School Fun Read and there will be BOOK BATTLES along with a host of other cool activities to get kids reading. Right now, we're developing a list of characters to entertain the students... and we would love your help! ... Please ask your children to nominate a character that we should include. Currently, our cast of characters contains an Owl, Wizard Worm, Girl & Boy, plus a Robot. HOW TO ENTER & WIN A LENOVO TABLET. 1. Comment below what character type we should add to our School Fun Read collection. Be generic as we can't use an existing character. For example, instead of saying 'Micky Mouse' just say a Mouse... and then tell us if your character has any special powers etc. 2. Name your character (and draw a picture if want) 3. 16.01.2022 Hi There Fam-Bam! Due to COVID-19, the annual 'Walk for Daniel' on Day for Daniel (Oct 30) is a closed event in 2020. It means that sadly the public will not be able to attend. So... The Daniel Morcombe Foundation has created #MyWalkforDaniel. It's a virtual walk event so ALL Aussies can participate and fundraise in their own way to help KEEP KIDS SAFE!... Please watch the video attached... Denise and Bruce made it to highlight the significance of the Walk. Bruce and Denise will be doing their very own #MyWalkforDaniel and have set themselves a fundraising target of $10,000. The Morcombe's are doing really well and have raised half of their target. 10.01.2022 Hey Fam-Bam, THANK YOU! We're so proud to be assisting school communities this year. In truth, we loving helping every year... but this is a special one as we assist to improve the mental health of students and help schools to upgrade all kinds of things, plus pay for unexpected COVID expenses. With your help we've raised money for The Smith Family to help kids living below the poverty line stay connected to remote learning via technology. We've also raised funding for The ...Daniel Morcombe Foundation to help Keep Kids Safe. Together, we set all kinds of records. Lindfield Public School raised $91,000+ in March to become our highest fundraising school of all time. Then last month, Milton Public went one better by raising over $114,000. Our schools are averaging a 51% funding increase this year as a collective and in mid September they collected $480,000 in just seven days. That set another record: the most amount raised in a single week! IT ALL COMES BACK TO COMMUNITY AND IT'S BRILLIANT TO SEE SO MUCH LOVE & SUPPPORT! There's never a bad day at School Fun Run because we get to help all the time... but some things are more memorable then others and seeing so much community support for our schools this year is unforgettable.
