24.01.2022 Last night while some of us enjoyed a quiet night at home, some of our beautiful men from Rosny Connect got their ‘race car driver’ on... and from what we hear, they all had a ripper night. We are so stoked to hear you all got to do a blokey activity with so many other blokey blokes. Ladies... should we have a go next!?

22.01.2022 Well... the Rosny Connect ladies are in for a nice quiet evening tonight. It’s time to grab a book, line up a chick flick and a hot drink or run a nice long bath. The options are endless! This is all possible because the lads, hoons and rev heads of our church are preparing for a night at Hyperdrive and we really do hope they have a great time together. We want to see photos of the podium finishers!! Don’t let us down. Have an awesome night!

21.01.2022 #LOVEONEANOTHER

20.01.2022 We love our youth at Rosny (we love you all... old and young) and this week is going to be especially for them... and the youth at heart. That’s all of us, right!? Pastor Mark is constructing a special message for us from his hospital bed (unstoppable man) based on the book of Judges, which the youth have been studying in the last couple of months. It’s going to be a blessing to us all. Come and join the young people as they worship youth style!

19.01.2022 That extravagant generosity toward others is the appropriate response to God’s extravagant generosity toward us.

18.01.2022 Hmmmm... who’s putting their hand up to do this!? Who’s a good wordsmith that can throw a few lines together for our pastor!?

16.01.2022 Louie Giglio: In a world that's angry - be a peacemaker. In a world that's filled with angst - have a spiritual ease about your life. In a world that wants to divide people - be a uniter of people. ... In a depressed world - have seeds of joy that transcend in your life. When everyone is looking for the negative - always walk into a circumstance ready to find the positive and rally people into hope. That's the difference we have the opportunity to make in this world. The way you live your life can be the positive reference point people have for the Christian faith, because you stepped into their story and made a difference. "Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul. Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us." 1 Peter 2:11-12

16.01.2022 November 20... that is TODAY!

12.01.2022 Narelle: If you are in the 18-35 age group category, you should seriously consider going to a Youth Congress. I went to a Youth Congress in Ballarat in 2000/2001 (yes, kids, I am that old) and I loved every minute. I was blessed enough to have been a student of Dwight Nelson for those few days and I can still tell you the study topic... the prayer of Jabez. A couple of sentences that have impacted my spiritual journey so much. We went as a group and loved spending time with each other... people who share the same convictions. I am sure Tui Ridge Park in New Zealand is beautiful... it’s not far from Rotorua, so be sure to visit the hot springs if you go!

11.01.2022 A favourite of Bineta’s who is being baptised next week. Familiarise yourself with it so we can sing this song with all our hearts and in celebration of her decision to give her life to God. It’s a beautiful song!

11.01.2022 Narelle here! I got up this morning at 7am and went for a walk... the first day on the attack on my Corona Curve (it’s time ). It is a beautiful, still morning... the grass is glistening in the morning sun, the committed morning walkers are out with their dogs and all (bar one grumpy bum runner) greeted me with a smile and a ‘good morning’ as I pass. The empty roads and lack of busyness and urgency of people needing to get somewhere is so refreshing. I like a soundtrack to... walk to... keeps my pace up... and this morning I intently listened to a song I heard yesterday for the first time. Unlike my husband, Jarrod, I am a words person (he listens to the music and the arrangement) and this song has jumped to the top of my favourites list. It is beautiful and it is called ‘No One Ever Cared For Me Like Jesus’. I hope it blesses you as much as it has me. Have yourselves a lovely one See more

11.01.2022 Narelle here! This guy is one of my favourite humans. You will no doubt recognise his handsome head!! Cam has one of the biggest hearts I have ever known and I love him dearly for it. He has a keen eye for detail and strives for brilliance (and most of the time he achieves it) but doesn’t expect recognition for it. He is thoughtful, humble, kind and just generally a top bloke. Today, he was awarded Apprentice of the Year by the Master Builders Association... an award he thoroughly deserves. If you have a spare minute, let him know how ‘not surprised’ his church family are that he was acknowledged for his achievements We are proud of you, Cam. Well done

11.01.2022 Please join us at about 11:20 am for our special message.

10.01.2022 Yesterday two of our beautiful friends tied the knot. Steve and Christina start today... their first entire day... as husband and wife, a team for life. Your Rosny Connect church family would like to let you know we are so very happy you found each other and we are so blessed to call you our friends. May God bless you both with long, healthy and happy lives together. Congratulations!

09.01.2022 Please tune in for our baptism service if you are not already watching. Here is the link. https://youtu.be/kJKORRoJzrU

07.01.2022 It’s not too late to jump in the shower and scoot over to Rosny Church to join us as our awesome youth lead us in worship. Come on... you know you want to!!

06.01.2022 In December of 2018, I was suffering from a severe skin condition and my relationship of four years was falling apart. All of the things I thought I knew about... the world were suddenly coming into question. I hadn’t felt happy or fulfilled in far too long, and I needed answers. There were a few different major events over the coming months that led to my conversion. Firstly, my family was invited to attend an event called Night of Hope at the local Seventh-day Adventist church by our neighbors and friends. Indiana Academy sits right next door to this church, and the students hold a Christmas concert each year. I had no prior knowledge of Adventism, but I was impressed by the performance and I felt that the environment was similar to the church my Grandma is active in. She has always been an active member of her church in Detroit, at which my great-grandpa was once the minister. While I was a believer as a child, I never truly understood what Jesus did for us on the cross, and quickly lost my faith as a teenager and young adult. But my Grandma’s church always felt like home. I had assumed it was because I associated it with her and good times with family, but I know now that it was so much more than that. Second, watching the Passion of the Christ shortly after attending the church concert opened my eyes to the weight of Jesus’s sacrifice. I understood for the first time both His complete innocence and His immense suffering. I felt God’s holy presence testifying to me that the Gospel is the one and only truth. Then one day, after beginning my faith journey by praying and reading the Bible, I met Jesus in person. As I read His eternal words, I was overcome with emotion. All at once, I felt the weight of my own sin and the damage that others’ sins had caused me. Suddenly, the room in which I lay praying was entirely filled with His presence, and all of the pain was subdued. Although I did not audibly hear Him, He told me who He is and who I am in Him. He told me everything was going to be okay. Shortly after I started regularly attending the church I had visited in December, and was then offered a position at Indiana Academy. I have worked there fulfilling a few different roles for over a year now. I am so grateful to God for giving me the opportunity to directly serve Him and His children so shortly after my salvation. I still have a long way to go in my journey with the Lord, and I am ready to experience whatever He has in store for me with confidence in His eternal love.

03.01.2022 Louie Giglio Jesus doesn't just give you what you need; Jesus is what you need. Your heart was created by Him, for Him. You can fight and claw to gain the world, but without Jesus, you will never be completely satisfied. If there is a growing discontent deep in your heart - a hunger that hasn't been completely satisfied by people, pleasures, material things, or accomplishments - today is the day to open your heart to the idea that it is Jesus that you were made for. But you have to walk away from "less" and ask Him to become your "more". Jesus is enough for you, and He is here.
