25.01.2022 We are super excited that our annual Latin Festival is this weekend! We are looking forward to showcasing some of the best dancing, food and music from Latin America and can't wait to share it with you guys! The Festival is going to be at Sandown Racecourse, 591-659 Princes Hwy, Springvale.... Entry cost is $20 per adult, $10 concession/students/seniors, kids under 12 FREE. 17.01.2022 SEPTEMBER LATIN FESTIVAL PRESENT: ROCIO CONDE - A NEW FACE FOR THE LATIN COMMUNITY Rocio Conde is a Venezuelan flamenco dancer and educator. Rocío started dancing flamenco 15 years ago in Academia Tatiana Reyna in Caracas.... She is a founding member of Stefany Vivas Ballet Flamenco and has been a flamenco teacher and choreographer for 10 years. She was a finalist in the first edition of Premio Torbellino Flamenco in 2011, a flamenco dance competition that brings together artists and flamenco students from every corner of Venezuela. In 2017, she won Second Prize in Flamenco Certamen USA, held at Lincoln Center in the city of New York. She has studied with flamenco masters in Venezuela, Spain, USA and Australia. She moved to Melbourne in 2019 and teaches flamenco in the city. Flamenco is her deepest vocation and passion, and her closest encounter with God.
