22.01.2022 Preparations for getting your vehicle serviced with Sewellys Spanners... 1. Call/text us to book in a date and time that suits us all. 2. Tell us what your Service Log Book requires at your ODO KMS if possible so we can pre order parts. We only stock whats booked in and our parts run closes 10am daily. 3. Leave service book in vehicle for us to stamp and check warranty and service requirements by manufacturers. 4. Leave vehicle dirty and messy, we give a free basic clean... and vacuum inside to all vehicles getting a service. 5. Let us know when you need vehicle back at drop off time. 6. We can drop you home and collect you in the York town area for no charge if required. 7. Speak to your mechanic about any mechanical concerns before you leave, he may be tall and hairy but he's very friendly! See more

22.01.2022 Business Trading Hours: 8am-12 & 1-5pm weekdays But... Feel free to call during our lunch break and outside of business hours and leave a message or text if necessary (checked regulary). We can open the workshop if available for weekend vehicle collections if necessary. We are busy too and know how people being flexible helps our life alot. Happy travels!

21.01.2022 Hey guys, we have had a busy rush on bookings due to the restrictions lifting on travel etc so please currently allow for a 3 week wait for vehicle services and mechanical repairs when booking with us. If its an emergency, Greg can have a quick look but any work will have to wait till after the daily bookings. We still only have Greg to do all the repairs but in my opinion he's worth the wait. 08.01.2022 Hey guys! This is the local place we buy all our radiators, Scott and Chris know their stuff and you can visit them direct for any concerns. Reminder from Mechanic Greg...Keep the coolant (radiator fluid) filled at all times. You should always administer coolant with usually a 50/50 water mix, or purchase an already watered-down version from your local Autoparts, Hardware or supermarket store. Keep the radiator cap on tight; its designed to keep the entire coolant chamber pressurized. Have your radiator flushed and filled on an annual basis. Happy travels!

If we noted your tyres were getting low tread on your last service / vehicle condition checkover, go see Jade @ Avon Valley Tyres, keeping it local Remember low tread will risk delamination or a blow out or a yellow sticker from police (costing more money in the long run). 03.01.2022 At Sewellys Spanners we understand that due to the COVID-19 pandemic that these are times of uncertainty for you. The Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association (AAAA) is keeping us informed. In response to announcements from Federal and State Governments over the past 24 hours, about the Government enforced shutdown of non-essential services we can say this: Automotive service and repair is not included in the Stage 1 shutdown and Auto parts manufacturing / parts supply is also not required to close.
