Well done ladies. There has been a lot of talk and backlash about this fight, a lot of comments and posts. I understand the passion behind this sport as I’ve been around it for 16+ years . Unfortunately we live in a world where social media rules and comments can be ta...ken out of context but I fully support these ladies and their achievements. I understand everyone’s views on it. The public has proven they would love Tayla and myself to fight. I’m 100% keen for that. I know Tayla is my toughest test in Australia as I know I would be TayIa's as well. I'm all about challenging myself and believe Tayla is a great athlete and has done a lot of good for not only female boxing in Australia but all females in sport in our country. Amongst the talk some positive and some negative.I’ve received many msgs from people I don’t even know . I’m a very strong spoken person & I’ll always say what’s on my mind unfortunately it can be taken the wrong way and I shouldn’t get caught up in the hype of ramping a fight up so I apologise if anything I’ve said has come across the wrong way or offended anyone, it’s not my intention at all. I would love the chance to challenge myself against the Aus Champ and I know it would be a great spectacle for boxing, sporting fans and more so woman's boxing. Like many other fighters I’ve also got my story to why I chose boxing. My goal has always been to empower woman, encourage them to fight for what’s right, set goals and smash them, to be confident, strong, independent & to have the guts not to let anyone bring us down and to face our fears head on. I want woman to achieve what they have been made to believe is impossible & prove the doubters wrong. I’d love this fight to make a statement for the right reasons and show other woman that you can have dreams and chase them too. Australia has a terrible domestic violence rate and I'd love to raise awareness.I hope Tayla and myself can work together and make this one of Australia’s best female fights and promote it for all the right reasons. . #boxing #womansboxing #australianboxing See more
