25.01.2022 What we show you here is what we hope the rest of the field is looking at 20m from the winning post in race 3 at Devonport today...DIVISORS REAR END!!! After a short let up, DIVISOR returns to Spreyton to contest the 0-64, 1150m. Though proven over a bit more ground, and this is one of the sharpest fields hes come across, we are hoping for a solid performance from the lad. GAIUS JULIUS kicks off our day in race 1. Though he doesnt seem to have hit his straps just yet, fingers crossed we start to see the horse we know at home. He has shown a bit of a liking to the synthetic so thats in his favour also. Race 2 sees Calinda front the starter again. After half missing the kick here 2 weeks ago we hope she jumps and puts herself in the race to see where we go with her moving forward. LEBOMBO ROSE, Resuming from a spell and is loving beach life. She will improve from her run today but will certainly give em a shake... 21.01.2022 What can we say that hasn't already been said...Hannah is a little Star...Hannah is a Little witch, but she's a star!!! LOL.. It was a whole new ball game for the girl today.. Up to 1400m for the first time in our care, To a track that she didn't really show much on when she trialled there, And the Boss's prerace plan to not get in a front running tussle meant she may have been ridden out if her comfort zone... But guess what...Hannah didn't care, she happily Kicked the walls and snarled at anyone that came near, in faint hope she may have managed to latch on and bite someone and get another win for the day!!! And you know what...We wouldn't change a thing!!! 3 wins in a row now for our little horror and we love her to bits!!!! HANNAH HANNAH HANNAH..

20.01.2022 The good ol saying theres no prize money in trials but how could we not have been proud of our team of horses at Hobart trials today. 6 Trialers 4 winners 2 Seconds... only 8 days now till we are back racing #excited

20.01.2022 This is JETZ... Otherwise known as... JETZ! He's our first 2yo to be presented at the trials this year and now others know the same as us... Hes a little speed demon..and we shall emphasise the Demon part haha.. By the Stallion Air Force Blue, Jetz trial was enough to Impress Both trainer and Jockey with even Caller Colin McNiff mentioning trial times and stating it was a 'Very Impressive trial" As anyone knows you can't rush babies, so we will wait for the dust to settle and then plot a possible start date for the little bloke.. we know one thing..It will be an exciting day for the stable.

19.01.2022 HEZREDHOT!!! He sure is!! In what was turning out to be a Character Building day was made better by a top performance by the big Red and Kyle Maskiell. Some fancy whip work from Kyle saw the Red Horse in the better going helping him to his 2nd win from as many starts. Special mention must go to the Barrier Boys in Hobart today. Your work to get these sometimes difficult horses into the gates is a credit and without you many wouldnt get to celebrate wins like todays..So Thanks Guys.

19.01.2022 Recently we have added a new exercise to our horses training and education. Once a week our horses have started pole work. After speaking with highly regarded horse woman Mel Cotton she explained to me the benefits of this excercise and the horses just love it. 17.01.2022 Appreciation post: This young man Jacob Duggan has had an extremely rough week with his dad Adrian Duggan being involved in a horrid fall at Launceston harness last Sunday night and is still in hospital. Yet young Jacob still made the trip to Devonport yesterday to help us on a busy day and partnered his favourite boy Rocky to victory!! 15.01.2022 No messing about... Today weve pulled out the big guns!!! Off to Devonport with 2 runners.. And weve put Jordan (pictured here with Apache Cat) In Charge! (Dont let the truth of his dad Paul being with him get in the way of a good tale) Jordan has CRYSTALS PASS in race 3 with S.CARR aboard and CALINDA in race 4 With T.Baker on top. For the jockeys sake, we hope Siggy gives hers a good steer, would not look good if Jordan had to give the boss a spray after her ride! Good luck today to all our owners, Jordan, over to you!!! 14.01.2022 No luck today but still so pleased to be back racing. A tough day on very testing ground the team came through it fine just werent comfortable on the heavy track conditions.

12.01.2022 Off to the sports with a large team again Sunday and hoping that our run of luck continues. A few questions being asked with some of the runners this week, can a couple handle the quick back up, Interesting to see if the step up in distance will help the beautifully bred Elegant Choice, will Kyle Maskiell love HEZREDHOT as much as the Boss does??? 12.01.2022 The George Clooney of the team ( Cause he melts all the girls hearts) INVINCIBLE ROCK is all prepped and ready to defend his 1350m Title at Spreyton tomorrow. He has loved his little beach holiday since his last run and although he comes up against some stiff competition were sure he will try his heart out the same as usual. Relative newcomer DIVISOR has done nothing wrong since his last start either. Stepping up to the 1650m tomorrow for the first time will teach us more ab...out this 3yo by The Factor. Jumping from gate 9 adds another element to factor in so we will just hope for the best there. And after deciding retirement wasnt quite her thing just yet, for the first time in 13 months, CRYSTALS PASS is having a day out at the sports. She has trained on well since her trial in Hobart on Monday and anything she does tomorrow will hopefully be a step in the right direction. To all our owners, Goid Luck, and as always...Safe Racing!! 12.01.2022 Mark wasn't here...but that's ok...The other half of the ownership Katrina Coleman was More that happy to cuddle up to our Qld Pocket Rocket HANNAHS SONG after she brought up a stable double tonight under lights at Mowbray. The first winner of the night was CORONATION DORIS, courtesy of a 12 out of 10 ride by claiming apprentice Codi Jordan. As always, thanks to all the staff who are putting in the long hours and hard yards running the 2 stable Complex's .

08.01.2022 So, we've had a day to let it sink in... The very first ever treble as a Trainer. To everyone that has called and messaged Thank you. Most importantly, All our runners have pulled up really well so the planning begins again. We put the work in every day to have these horses as ready as they can be for raceday and when the gates fly open its up to the pilot on top. We could not have asked for more from any of our riders last night. Kyle Maskiell, David Pires and of course Troy. Fantastic work and we can't thank you enough. We are very lucky to have you all ride for us when needed. Renee, Stacey, Maddie, Greg, Jody and all the other helpers who make nights like last night possible, We thank you too..Lets hope its the first of many!!!!

05.01.2022 With racing resuming in the coming weeks the team had a productive day out at Ladbrokes Park Hobart. We took 7 horses for grass gallops 6 horses for trials and 3 horses for jumpouts. 05.01.2022 Huge Night under lights at Mowbray tonight. The Boss is in the Trainers seat as Jockey Siggy is Suspended.. We kick off in the 2nd race with Northern Spirit, Her first start indicated she would appreciate more ground so tonight her and Troy get the chance, Lovely gate, lets hope we collect that Tasbonus cheque. Race 3, Lady of Fortune, First up from a spell in Hobart on Melbourne Cup day where we know she will improve on. These next couple of starts will tell us what path to... take with this filly. Troy rides her tonight. Race 4, Coronation Pia, Really looking forward to getting her back here tonight though the Barrier isnt the greatest. Troy gets on Really well with Pia so hoping for a great result in this race. Race 5, we get busy with 2 of the 8 runners. Both unknown over the 2100m distance but if they both finish off the way they did last start in the 1600m race in Hobart they will be right in it. Interestingly, Gaius Julius did run the fastest last 600m in the mile that day. Kyle Maskiell sticks with Gaius Julius and Troy takes over the reins on Full Knots Ahead. A little break in the evening gives us time to pamper "The Rock Star"! Invincible Rock returns from a little break and David Pires sticks with him. This is a competitive field and We know its a little short of his favorite distance but he loves Mowbray and always tries his best.. Good luck to everyone tonight and as always, Safe Racing. BOAR STREET has met what looks to be some sharp competition in the first race, Weve noticed a mention from the local tipsters for GAMETIME in the second, though Georgie and ELEGANT CHOICE might disagree, Hope one of them is right. DIVISOR makes his debut for the stable in race 3, Massive thanks to The Lloyd Kennewell team for this horse! GIVE US A WINNER in race 5... has won previously at this track and distance, and INVINCIBLE ROCK in race 6 Is always there abouts.. Lucky last for the day is CORONATION GLADE with Troy aboard. Hes been super happy with him during the week so fingers crossed there. To our owners, a huge good luck, and to our staff who will make the long trip tomorrow for a busy day with a large team.. Gaius Julius is back after a promising first preparation with 2 close placings from 4 race starts. Ever consistent Coronation Glade returns after a run of third placings after his impressive win last preparation. 1400 is as short as he wants but the track conditions will really suit. 01.01.2022 Yesterday we made the decision to retire our stable favourite Day Trader. He will spend the rest of his days at our Oatlands property enjoying his retirement. Thanks for the memories Noah

01.01.2022 Siggy Carr has been gradually building her stable since the mass exodus in April when owners opted to remove their steeds from her care owing to Tasmanias shut... down because of the coronavirus pandemic. Carr has been steadily recouping after the break, riding four winners that formed part of a training double last Sunday in Devonport would have helped her cause. In Hobart on Sunday she has seven acceptors with Lady of Fortune and Hezredhot considered her two best winning chances. Lady of Fortune will line up in the Hazellbros Benchmark 60 Handicap over 1400m and she comes off a brilliant maiden win over 1200m at the same venue two weeks ago. I was considering sending Lady of Fortune for a spell but she pulled up so well from her last start and has since done extremely well in the stable, weve opted to give her one more start before she takes a break, Carr said. I think she has been harshly treated at the weights because she is still only a two-year-old and shes been given 57kg but its the most suitable race on the program so we accepted all the same. Hezredhot could not have been more impressive in winning on debut in a 1200-metre maiden in Hobart last month. The gelded son of Hidden Dragon led and was never threatened on his way to a 2-1/4 length win over Orange Roughie and Lucky Lil. I havent been able to fault Hezredhots work since his win and hes absolutely thriving being trained in a beach environment Carr recently acquired training facilities at Seven Mile Beach, but she also retained boxes at Brighton. Hezredhot has an excellent cruising speed and he is strong, so based on his previous effort Id say he is my stables best winning chance on Sunday. Hezredhot will be ridden by apprentice Kyle Maskiell who resumed race riding last Sunday in Devonport and left the track with a double aboard the John Blacker-trainer pair, Gone Girl and Argyle Beach. Ive opted to book a claiming apprentice on Hezredhot and while Kyle (Maskiell) cant claim his full 1-1/2 kilos, he can claim one (kg) and that is enough off the horses back to make a difference.
