15.01.2022 With R U OK Day fast approaching this Thursday, we want to highlight the theme this year is Theres more to sayafter R U OK?. All of us have been learning and working in situations that is not our ideal, so this year it is even more important for us to remain socially connected while we are physically apart. In reflecting on this years message we want you to all focus on those changes we may have noticed in the people we care about.... Have you got a feeling that someone you know or care about it isnt behaving as they normally would? Perhaps they seem out of sorts? More agitated or withdrawn? Or theyre just not themselves. Trust that gut instinct and act on it. By starting a conversation and commenting on the changes youve noticed, you could help that family member, friend or workmate open up. If they say they are not ok, you can follow our conversation steps to show them theyre supported and help them find strategies to better manage the load. If they are ok, that person will know youre someone who cares enough to ask.
