24.01.2022 Just in case your thinking of washing your rig, here is pretty explanation of what you need to. https://www.facebook.com/332890033476525/posts/1638552279576954/ If that’s too much work for to undertake, give it to me when your reserve is due for a repack & will sort it out & repack your reserve (obviously at a modest price!).... During winter, expect a 2 week turn around (less during warmer weather obviously).

23.01.2022 Start of season special’s. In case anyone needs/ wants/ think they should replace their lower brake lines or their kill-lines, am offering to replace them for $30 each (or $50 for both kill-line & lower brakes). Can collect from Torquay dz on Wednesday’s & have it back for the following weekend.

18.01.2022 So how much dirt is in your rig? This is the colour of water after 2 hours of soaking for a single rig! Now to clean the tub of debris & start again.

18.01.2022 Wristmounts for Neptune digital alti's now available! $35 delivered within Australia, or $30 if picked up at Torquay or Maldon.

17.01.2022 OK, before we change our mind, to help celebrate that marvelous holiday (??) known as Halloween, Skycam will offer 20% off all stock lines for next 72 hours. I have a busted arm at moment, so please do not ask me about any rigging work/ relines (just yet)! Fine print: No rain check's & doesn't include any rigging or reserve repacks!... For more info, email "[email protected]"

16.01.2022 And another minor job for one of our customers. Wanted a bit of amour plating (1,000 Denier Cordura) on their bum for tandem slide-in's. Even managed to reinstall the pockets for him!

13.01.2022 Another product specially designed for Wingsuiter's & with safety in mind. Yes there a heap of alti mounts on the market, but all contain aluminium or carbon fibre plates to keep alti stable in flight. Alas, these have caused damage to other wing suits during climb out & on very close (albeit collisions) flocking.... We have simply designed a mount that doesn't require any reinforcement, yet keeps alti stable & eliminates the potential damage to other wingsuiters/ wing suits. Can be fitted on either side of your rig, simply slipping inside the mudflap & then secured. PM for more info!

11.01.2022 Gratuitously stolen from Parachute Rigging Forum! And refers to a couple of recent incidents in the USA Please read & have a look at yours & your mates gear before your next jump. " Faulty RSL shackles. Last year a young jumper complained about his RSL disconnecting. He continued to jump the rig had a malfunction and cutaway low. No reserve deployment. RSL found disconnected. Last Thursday another jumper had a malfunction and his GoPro caught his RSL opening as he was cuttin...g away. We found that we could cause the RSL to disconnect from a riser on the ground with a quick jerk. Well both of these rigs were slightly older Infinity's. We then checked every rig we could find at the DZ that day. We found 2 more of the same kind of shackles. One on another Infinity and one on a Mirage G3. These shackles are unmarked and have a full hinge design. The locking post does not extend fully through the gate and the end is very round compared to others.Shackles with T for Tylaska or W for Wichard do not appear to be a problem. I have contacted VSE about this and they said that they recently received another report of the same issue. They have promised to look into the matter. If anyone else out there has seen the same thing please report it. They need serial numbers." See more

11.01.2022 Replacement Cutaway handles, a mere $75.00 (+ postage). Even happy to custom colour them in your favourite team colours at same price!

06.01.2022 So there will be no excuse for frayed closing loops at Torquay anymore, these are available for FREE! See us at the dz if you need one.

05.01.2022 Another new product for our lineup!! Weightbelts for a measly $110.00 (delivered within Australia), a few extra bucks to NZ. Alas, no actual weights supplied, just the thing to put them in.... PM for more info.
