20.01.2022 In 2019 the @sonofdotdrinks team in collaboration with @scintilla_wines produced a wine with a vision. The brief was to create an enigmatic and vibrational representation of @jaymarinis’ favourite Jura styles, with the beautiful yeasty flavour of Jame’s shed (read: terroir). The result was ‘The Maenad’ - an orgiastic expression of the truly heart-warming relationship we share with James. 12.01.2022 RED RED WOINE. New from @commune_of_buttons - 2019 ‘Syrah’ and ‘Basket Town Noir’. Commune produces wine almost exclusively from their estate grown 30+ year old family vines their beautiful mum Kay (AKA another Dot) put in the ground somewhere in the sultry 80’s. At this time the Commune housed three seperate families. These pioneers believed in permaculture, circular economies and a reduction of the hyper sensory. Today, three Button families, across three generations l...ive at Fernglen Estate, and they’re making wines you simply wouldn’t believe while maintaining the tenants of the Commune lifestyle. These two cuvèe’s come from grapes that are sourced outside of the Commune. Whereby like minded collaborators allow for an extension of their regular repertoire.
