24.01.2022 Just in case Zac needs some ideas to help us sing the right rhythms!!
16.01.2022 Soundwave Choir rehearsals, backyard-style, socially-distanced (except for the families!). And now with the stage three restrictions in place as of midday today, we can have up to 100 people at rehearsal, so now’s the time to join!! OK, so I’m not sure we could still fit 100 in the backyard while social distancing, but we can definitely fit more than 20! We normally rehearse on Wednesday evenings, but have temporarily changed to Saturday afternoons so that we can sing outdoo...rs with natural ventilation! So if singing’s your thing, and you’d like to give singing in a choir a go, drop us a line either here or at [email protected] for more information.
15.01.2022 Soundwave is regretfully taking a little break from meeting for choir rehearsals, but we have a bit of music to keep us going in the meantime. And we may trial an online rehearsal - we’ll keep you posted on how that works out!! But we will be back at St Joseph’s for face-to-face rehearsals once the crisis is over!! In the meantime, stay safe, stay home, wash your hands and look after your mental health by singing!!

02.01.2022 Last night, choir members attended our first ever virtual rehearsal over Zoom! Despite having to adjust to the new rehearsal style and platform, everyone had a great time and enjoyed singing as a choir once again. It's good to know that even in these troubling times, there are still ways to come together and create beautiful music. #music #choir #virtualchoir #socialdistancing
