06.01.2022 Dear valued clients, I thought that this was the opportune time to update you all about South Coast Cruise and Travel as we navigate through Covid19. Since the travel restrictions have been imposed, my team and I have worked tirelessly through mass cancellations, countless airline policies and emails, plus the ever changing environment of border closures and quarantine restrictions. It has not been easy when we are used to making bookings, and this amount of cancellations wi...th no reward has shown amazing character and the fortitude of my staff. The refunds from suppliers and airlines has been nothing short of atrocious, some of these taking more than six months to refund with limited contacts due to staff being stood down in the wholesale companies and airlines. This has proven to be another hurdle that we are trying to overcome. I would like to sincerely thank you all for your patience and understanding, particularly if you are still waiting on a refund for your bookings. Moving on from the cancelled bookings, and creating credits for those who were given the credit opportunities, our aim is now to focus on the products we can sell in order to keep us around in the future. Currently our main focus is on New South Wales and future cruises. Please remember us, as no matter how small or close to home your booking is, even if it is Bateman’s Bay or the Blue Mountains, please give us the opportunity to book it for you as every dollar is going to help us see the other side of this pandemic. At this stage I have kept all my staff and I will do everything I possibly can to keep them, as they are the best, intelligent, most caring, diligent staff in this area. Your support will help me achieve my goal of keeping them in the future. I want to thank all of you who have phoned, emailed, or popped in to see how we going and to check in on us. These thoughts of our wellbeing mean the world to us and we do hope to be able to send you on your dream holidays again in the future. Currently we are operating on reduced hours in the office from 10 am to 2pm Monday to Friday and as bookings increase we hope to return to normal hours in the future.
