As the weather heats up, motorists are also reminded it’s not only an offence for children or pets to be left unattended in a vehicle, it can be deadly.... 07.01.2022 From the ocean and harbour to rivers and lakes, police will be out in force over the summer period and we'll be reminding boat users about the importance of wearing lifejackets, having correct safety equipment and not speeding. If you are a skipper, remember you are responsible for the safety of everyone on your boat. If you are a passenger, wear a life jacket; it will save your life.

03.01.2022 Step out Speak out: 16 Days of Activism Please join @nswpoliceforce and @randwickcitycouncil in speaking out against domestic violence. The Step Out Speak Out walk raises awareness of domestic violence and actively encourages everyone to take a stand and say no to domestic violence. The first step in abolishing domestic-related violence is acknowledging the magnitude of its impact says NSW Police Commissioner Michael Fuller. Each year, about 25 people will die in NSW at t...he hands of someone who claimed to love them, and many more are seriously injured. These incidents are tragic and absolutely unacceptable, and why we as a community must stay committed to preventing violence of any kind. We ask you to #StepOutSpeakOut2020 and walk with your family, friends, or co-workers from High Cross Park, Randwick, to Grant Reserve @ Coogee Beach. The walk will take place during the 16 days of activism between 25th November 2020 and 10th December 2020. Please spread your support on social media by posting I stepped out to end Domestic Violence and tag #StepOutSpeakOut2020. Follow the link for more details! https://www.randwick.nsw.gov.au//w/step-out-speak-out-walk
