25.01.2022 Our International Director Peter Aquilina is in Perth to direct a series of local productions. With him comes the new Ronin camera mount that we will be using on some shoots. Excited to see how it works and to have Peter create some great local ads. Call me if you want to catch up with us and chat for your next campaign

23.01.2022 Today was install day of our solar panels. Suggested to our client "we should film the guys doing their thing." Blown away watching these guys in action and thankful Bruce Flint offered to try out his drone. Looking forward to the final cut of the video. In half a day these little beauties have already given us a (small) return (not the crew, the panels)

23.01.2022 Brilliant work by Advertising mate Mick Colliss. Stay bored Mick. Do more

22.01.2022 We had a few weeks of panic, but we are back out shooting. Busier than ever sourcing locations close to home. This is one of our recent TVC's Thanks to Dale Waters and Tyrepower through the wonderful Kaila Milne at Intersect. Very creative by Andrew Tinning at AT Creative. Great talent in the white car. Producer : Lee , Director DOP: Peter Aquilina

21.01.2022 A taste of locations for your next shoot in Western Australia all less than 45 minutes from the Perth CBD. WA offers great diversity. We have created Perth streets to looking like New York streets, external houses that could have been in Norway, sand dunes that could be Saudi Arabia, rock formations that could be on the moon, the list is endless. We love a challenge, so give us one and have your next shoot in a special part of the world, when we are allowed to travel again that is

19.01.2022 7 day week, 5 shooting days, 4 different clients, 1 hell nasty chest cold. Result? Now in Post production and everything is looking fabulous.

16.01.2022 Latest job by the Split Screen crew. First job for Director Peter Aquilina into the Pilbara region of WA. He (as is I) hoping it will be the first of many. Great client, great agency, great concept, great crew, great time!

16.01.2022 Great day out shooting today. Autumn filming in the Perth Hills

12.01.2022 Helping to promote the Bickley Valley and some of the many local wineries. All from the luxury of our 54 Caddy. Feeling good!

06.01.2022 An ongoing fight with State Government in WA. Lucky for us the International market seems to think we have the "Internationally Acclaimed Skills" our WA Minister for Tourism and Small Business does not think we have.

03.01.2022 A Western Australian State Government Minister has justified bringing in Eastern States film crew members to film in WA during hard border lock downs and COVID by stating their internationally acclaimed skill set is not available here in WA. Would like to know how our national and international clients feel about that comment. The fact that the Minister will not share what the skill set is, because the Government funded job is confidential (I thought it would be open to pub...lic information as it is funded by us), makes it hard to know why THE WHOLE of the WA Film industry lacks in certain skills. During border shut downs we have been trusted by International and Eastern States non government big businesses to shoot productions on their behalf in WA as we lived streamed the vision in real time back to them. This was due to the fact they abided to the WA Government boarder shut down rulings. Why do WA Government TV shoots receive exception to this ruling? To make us feel better we did a shoot yesterday for a national client Synxbody and the CEO posted this on her social media. Seems we can do some things right See more
