25.01.2022 The Sprout Hub Aurora project is coming to an end, after all, we were always a little place for a little while to support the local community in the very early days of the Aurora Development. Come and join us for a last hurrah to celebrate the festive season and remember all the fun weve had over the last three years!

18.01.2022 MEET THE FINALISTS & MAKE YOUR VOTE COUNT // Introducing our first of two Seedling Fund finalists: parkrun Wollert/Epping North A parkrun is launching soon within Aurora and will be one of over 360 parkruns in Australia to provide a free, timed, 5km running/walking event to the local community, every Saturday morning. The overriding goal of establishing a parkrun event at Wollert/Epping North is to encourage the health and wellbeing of community members. The project aims... to engage people from all backgrounds and of all fitness levels, abilities and ages, both to volunteer and walk/run. The Seedling Fund grant will be used to purchase an Automatic Electronic Defibrillator (AED), in order to create the safest possible environment for our community to get together. 18.01.2022 SEEDLING FUND FINALIST IN FOCUS The Epping North Scouts received $2,783 in the recent Aurora Seedling Fund. The Scouts will use their Seedling Fund grant to run a free community event in Wollert/Epping North to allow the community to experience some fun and adventurous Scouts activities- stay tuned for the date. The grant will also be used to purchase and maintain equipment for camping trips and other activities to lower costs to participants and ensure well maintained and functioning equipment.

17.01.2022 It is with great excitement that we share the stats from the third Aurora Seedling Fund. In this round, 677 community votes were tallied to distribute the $4,900 grant between our two finalists. This round was very special because after the community voting, one of our finalist, Park Run, decided to donate additional funds they did not need to our other finalist, the local Scouts. Hows that for community spirit! The outcome of the grant saw Aurora Park Run (@auroraparkrun) receive $2,117.00 (after gifting 583.80 to Scouts) and Epping North Scouts (@ENSscouts) receive 2,783. A big congratulations to both the finalists and a warm thank you to the wider community who support the grant through the Sprout Hub and by participating in voting.

The Sprout Hub project was always a three-year initiative, delivered by Sprout Ventures for Lendlease, to help support the emerging Aurora community in the early stages of the development. Over the last three years, we have thoroughly enjoyed watching the Aurora community grow! In this time we have connected with many wonderful locals, delivered fun events, served many a coffee and ...are proud to have supported great community initiatives via the Seedling Fund Community Grant. We appreciate your support over the last three years and are proud to have been a part of this wonderful community, full of active and inspiring local people.
