19.01.2022 CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!! This term during Year 5’s STEM lessons the students have been participating in a Diocese wide STEM design challenge called Minds@work. They were looking at ways they can provide light to people in third world countries. After designing a prototype and creating a flip grid video, 3 of our students, Zafar Preena, Safiya Higgins and Sophie Adams, were chosen to present their prototype to a panel of judges from CQ university. After a well presented explanation of their design the judges crowed our team the winners of Minds@work 2020. Fantastic work, you should be very proud of yourselves. -- Sophie Adams is away attending the touch carnival in Rockhampton today, so was absent for the photo --

18.01.2022 Diocesan Digital Event, Dec 6th, 3 pm: For the very first time through film, we will be showcasing the human stories that have been impacted by our Diocesan Ministries. Specifically, you will hear the stories of our work amongst the Prisoners, Seafarers, our Indigenous communities, and work of the far West. As a way to show you, some of the rarely told stories, that exist in our Diocese. Join in Live via Facebook or YouTube as Bishop Michael McCarthy co-hosts with Nathan Har...ding taking you on a journey around the Diocese through the eyes of the individuals who are working in these important areas. 10.01.2022 Sock Fundraiser Take a look at these funky socks! They would make perfect Christmas Gifts! Order forms have been emailed to parents and carers and a hard copy will be sent home in week 1 of term 4. Any outside orders are very welcome, forms will be available at the office in term 4.

09.01.2022 What a wonderful gesture! Marist College's year 12 building and construction students designed and built these 2 fabulous cubby houses for our prep students! Mr Alex Jones made some very sturdy frames for them to sit on. What an incredible school community we have, thank you very much to all involved. The Prep students just love them.

06.01.2022 Here is our St Brigid’s touch team having a great day at the Catholics Schools Touch Carnival in Rockhampton.

05.01.2022 Yesterday our school touch team travelled to Rockhampton to compete in the annual Catholic Schools Touch Challenge. We were faced with some tough games to begin with, but as the day went on our students really stepped up and begin to put into play what they had learnt in training. We finished the day with a couple of very close games and a win. The students worked as a team to score more than 20 tries for the day! This was a tremendous result. Congratulations to all students who attended the carnival.
