24.01.2022 Meet Sarah, a superstar single mother to 4 wonderful children. Sarah and her family are now happy recipients of a sponsored internet connection on Start’s Life Changing Connection Program, made possible by our amazing customers, i.e. you guys!! Sarah is unable to work as she is the sole carer for her 4 children, of which 3 have special needs, so being able to afford an internet connection simply isn’t possible. Before joining the program in June, whenever internet access was ...needed Sarah had to mobilise the entire family to go friends’ houses and public WiFi hotspots like Hungry Jack’s. The family use the internet for online learning, speech therapy, paying bills and a little bit of Youtube (when the homework is done!). Without access a home internet connection, Sarah’s children wouldn’t have the same learning opportunities as their peers. We’re not ok with that.
