22.01.2022 The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre is now applying it's considerable expertise and technical infrastructure into hosting On-Line Conferences and Events, both large and intimate. The shoot took place just before the mandated introduction of face masks.

22.01.2022 Professor Leon Mann photographed for the Centre for Eye Research Australia. Professor Mann is a distinguished psychologist and eminent graduate of the University of Melbourne. Best known for his pioneering scholarship on decision-making and particularly for his book Decision making: A psychological analysis of conflict, choice and commitment, co-authored with Irving Janis. Cited prolifically in the decision making literature, it is possibly the most scientifically influential... psychology volume by an Australian author. Unusually for its time, the book approached personal decision making not as an exercise in utilitarian calculation but as a conflict-laden process frequently bound up in emotion, doubt, avoidance, rationalisation, and social pressures. Read the story of his deteriorating eyesight here. It does have a happy ending, thanks in part to the good work done by CERA. https://www.cera.org.au/give-the-gift-of-vision-research-2/ See more

17.01.2022 Focus and Commitment! Olympic hopefuls from Sports Climbing Australia pulling the house down during a training comp at Cliffhanger climbing gym in Altona North, Vic. Even though these young athletes are vying for individual spots on the team they were all still cheering on and encouraging their team mates during each attempt. Great to see such focus, commitment and team spirt in what is essential an individual sport in this young group. Best wishes to all involved!
