Parishioners from St James and Christ Church St Laurence attended the dinner and helped raise $3,800 for St Laurence House. Thank you to Glandore Estate Wines, Hunter Valley for their generous donation of wine for the evening.

10.01.2022 Our 2nd keynote speaker at next week's Big Event is Zoe Robinson. As CEO of Y Foundations, the peak body representing youth homelessness in NSW, she is one of the most knowledgeable and engaging people on this very important subject. We're so fortunate to have her representing the sector. She holds a law degree and Masters in Human Rights and has had a successful career in private and NGO roles. Zoe says, "Youth should be given every opportunity to succeed and set themselves up for success, and that starts with a stable home and access to basic human rights that allow them to reach their full potential." St Laurence House executive officer Nigel Parker made it real for us, talking about the house and our programs and how they can change people's lives, Zoe Robinson, CEO of Y Foundations, spoke of how the system that supports youth homelessness needs to change, and Benjamin Law provided lots of colour around his experience on SBS' Filthy Rich & Homeless. We were so fortunate to have such strong, interesting, and engaging speakers join us and help make our night a success!!
