21.01.2022 Prahran Library is coming to Prahran Square! From this summer, come and visit us at Prahran Square (the northern end). While Prahran Town Hall undergoes renovations, Prahran Library will move to Prahran Square, where you’ll be able to browse, borrow and read from popular collections, collect your reservations and use the free WiFi.... 06.01.2022 From Monday 16 November: Malvern, Phoenix Park and Toorak/South Yarra libraries will open from 10am-4pm, Monday to Friday, with a 1 hour closure from 12.30-1.30pm. Each library will have a 10 person maximum capacity at any time and visitors are asked to limit their visit to 20 minutes only for browsing, borrowing and enquiries only.... There are no bookings required to visit and a library staff member will greet you at the door to welcome you and record your details for contact tracing purposes. Our return chutes will also become available 24/7 at Malvern, Phoenix Park and Toorak/South Yarra libraries. Please see our full Conditions of Entry below and we ask for your patience as we welcome people back into our spaces. You may experience wait times as we manage the new ways in which we must operate.
