25.01.2022 Last ever job for Australian Associated Press was a positive one. Thanks for the opportunity over the past three years. #aap #theadvertiser

25.01.2022 A big shout-out to the amazing RESO team who are working so hard to support agents all over Australia to keep working #safely Their online sales platform is a proudly South Australian idea and amazing piece of technology. We love investing our time and creativity in smart and business transforming start-ups and are so pleased their stories are getting some traction #workingtogetherapart #storieswelove #storieswelltold #proptech #innovation #keepitupRESO #RESO

24.01.2022 We love helping local voices tell their cool and important community stories With shrinking community media outlets it is so amazing to see the Adelaide Hills Council creating and sharing fabulous community stories like this one about the Uraidla Cricket Club

20.01.2022 Very proud to be providing images for #Crowneplazaadelaide The views and amenities are amazing.

20.01.2022 We subscribe to Monocle and spending a brief moment reading my 'Monocle Minute' email this morning was, as always, well worth the short read. Most specifically, this morning it included this quote.... "The pandemic is different from the 2008 financial crash in many ways and a key one, he said, is that the emphasis is not on bankers and white-collar professionals but on workers who do things with their hands." Our business model has always focussed on sharing our knowledge o...nline - I am, after all, an online digital media academic - but many people have resisted. They have seemed to believe that "the old way was the best". As with all disruption, it takes time for new behaviours to replace old behaviours. But the speed at which this pandemic has affected the ability for people to take pictures, interview in person and fund a publication has been mind-blowing. Online platforms are currently the only way - so they are certainly the best way! Telling our stories safely, and at a time when we need them more than ever, is easier than it looks. See more

20.01.2022 Well this is a blow to journalism that few, including me, saw coming. If AAP was a print media outlet you could blame falling advertising and readership for its demise. However it is a service provider to news organisations and as such isn't itself directly reliant on the readership numbers to attract the advertising dollar. What this is is a collateral death to the declining numbers that are keeping the nostrils of print media just above the waterline. https://indaily.com.au//national-news-agency-aap-to-close/

18.01.2022 It's a great feeling to walk into one of our favourite cafes #marketstreet and sitting on a table is one of my cover shots. This one is for #UniSA Enterprise magazine.

17.01.2022 We love covering these community stories - so many amazing people working hard for their communities! #communitystorytelling

16.01.2022 Spent the last week photographing the new ATP tennis event the Adelaide International for Agence France Presse. Today I'll post some the women in action. To watch them play, they are powerful and graceful at the same time. 16.01.2022 Front page of The Advertiser and a pic in The Australian sports pages. Good start to the day.

16.01.2022 With the global nature of the Internet all digital publishers need to be across the latest legal rulings.......

15.01.2022 A local artist and Indigenous elder were among the community members who contributed to the Gumeracha Tourist Map showcasing everything this gorgeous town has to offer. Chelsea is one of twelve dedicated Gumeracha Main Street Project members who applied for a Community Grant to help bring this project to life. Read her story - we had heaps of fun telling it ........

15.01.2022 Seriously - who is advising the government? We are seeing error of judgment after error of judgment. As Katherine Murphy eloquently says - show us do to tell us! Truly it is by far the most effective way to communicate in every situation!

14.01.2022 One of our latest stories for the @adelaidehillscouncil. We so love talking to amazing community members doing fabulous work. We are writing up a series of case studies about previous community grant recipients and gosh there are some hard-working and passionate people living and working in the Adelaide Hills. We will share upcoming stories as they are published. #lovecommunitystorytelling #storytelling #adelaidehills #communitygrants

13.01.2022 Wow - what a time to be telling stories. It is hard to contemplate the extent of this crisis and all the people it is impacting and so we send our heartfelt thoughts to everyone as we all deal with the situation as best we can So many people have been negatively affected and we are all working to adapt. Real estate is a perfect example of this with Aussie start-ups like RESO providing technology options for agents all over the country. According to a Coronavirus Impact S...urvey by mobile ad platform AdColony, which surveyed 2000 people across APAC (including Australia, India, Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam) when it comes to e-commerce, 95% of people said they have purchased something online in the last two weeks and 46% say they will shift more purchases online. But reaching people who need help adapting is challenging so short, frequent, useful stories - words, images or audio - like this one we whipped up - are essential. Sending virtual hugs to all #workingtogetherapart #stayathome See more

09.01.2022 Bushfires in Australia have caused significant pain and suffering for as long as humans have inhabited this beautiful land. In modern times the way governments respond makes or breaks public opinion. In this article Mumbrella journalist Brittney Rigby says "Prime Minister Scott Morrison projects a frightening detachment, digging himself deeper and deeper into a PR crisis that reflects an incapacity for both good leadership and good marketing". Surely this is only making a desperately sad situation sadder. How will things play out from here?

03.01.2022 After what was a very average day yesterday I had this in the Sunday Mail this morning. #agencefrancepresse

03.01.2022 Brenton Edwards thinks his 20 plus years working for a tabloid newspaper makes him the best headline and tag line writer but I reckon this one I wrote is pretty good! His video is ok as well!

02.01.2022 My take of stage 2 of the #tourdownunder cycling in the #adelaidehills for #afpphoto. For those who haven't seen it, the devastation is immense. The pro tour photographers are lost for words. Their images will be seen around the world. But in the drab black and ash, #mothernature is breathing life into the wilderness. #southaustralia #nikonaustralia #procycling #tdu #nikon #cycling #velo https://www.instagram.com/p/B7nsIHEjWCk/

01.01.2022 We are keeping up our social media posting for RESO over the Christmas and New Year break because digital start-ups work day and night to work to provide the best products and services. And so it is our job to consistently create quality stories that help connect forward thinking agents with RESOs innovative technology......
