25.01.2022 #Repost @resistance_ss The Medicare system is finally getting the attention it deserves! Flick through these comments and you will see people unhappy about having to get off there arse and see someone who knows what there talking about. People still arent understanding that just exercising isnt going to fix everything, but exercising under an EP or ex scientists is honestly THE BEST WAY OF RIDDING CHRONIC PAIN There was a lot of negative comments on this post from unedu...cated sources. I am talking as someone who has fixed hundreds of people from just exercise alone. Exercise is the number one prescription for prevention and cure for most chronic pain conditions. If GPS are prescribing people to see an exercise physiologist we are no longer trying to hide the pain via pain killers. An EP will find out WHY it happened in the first place. (An example) a child care worker may hold her children on the same arm everyday, as this is her dominant side she then continues to pick up objects and use this same side for daily life. Overtime she overdevelops through her right shoulder creating a tight and painful feeling due to a decrease space in her shoulder joint. The option now is to go to the doctor, be prescribed medicine and hide the fact that the child care worker still doesnt no how to lifts objects properly, she doesnt realise that she is deficient on her other side, causing a muscular imbalance AND at the rate shes going, shes only Going to make it tighter and tighter, meaning more and more anti inflammatories. See an exercise professional, who can teach you to move properly, rid your chronic pain and get back to living pain free. And guess what, the government pays for it. What a fantastic idea. Get on board.

We strive to guide them through learning their body to make it strong. A lot of the time when it comes down to it, strong bodies usually equals healthy bodies, and who doesnt want that! 21.01.2022 The definition of persistence! @brendonkeall and I began working together a little while back to help increase muscle mass and get some numbers on the bench From plataueing at 40kgs, last night we ran our first testing session. Through following the plan and putting in the yards each week, we hit a PB of 60kg on the bench (and an easy 100kg squat for 3, but thats another story ). (To put it in perspective, we are pushing almost 1x BW for bench and getting to 1.5x for ...squat). Huge night last night, and you should be super proud Brendon! Im absolutely stoked for how far youve come and whats to come!! Congrats, onto the next goal

18.01.2022 --HEAVY LIFTING CLUB-- Fellas working hard during our inaugural session of the Heavy Lifting Club last week. This week will be spent continuing on building the foundations of lifting for our Primary Lifts of the program, Bench/Deadlift/Squat. Despite the name, Heavy Lifting Club is program for all - whether it be no experience lifting or have been doing it for years. With a scaled periodized programming approach, this enables each person to lift within their programmed weigh...ts based of testing data. The first testing block will be run on the 11th of November and this will be the cut off for the initial program. 15.01.2022 Integrating overhead stability work for clients @npe4151 & @xtophercjd84 for our progression into lifting overhead more efficiently and safely. . This movement shows how we can train OH shoulder stability in the position we want the shoulder to be in while taking away having to be standing. It also means we are able to limit most compensation from scapula elevation. The first video demonstrates a series of random perturbations to increase the effect on the scapula stabilizers.... . The legs can often be neglected when it comes to #paddlesports, but sufficient mobility and strength through the lower limb will help lead to improvements with on water performance. .... 11.01.2022 PADDLE SPORTS MINI SERIES 2/3 . The next part in our warm up for the #paddlesports mini series is a Thoracic Extension with the foam roller. The Thoracic region of the spine starts at shoulder height and finishes about a hands distance above your hips. . Thoracic mobility, in this instance, is focusing on the extension of the back. Good mobility through this region of the spine will allow for better rotation and movement of the shoulder blades. If you find yourself at a desk a lot of the day, this might be good for you to open up

For the warm up phase of the mini-series, we have adopted the Release, Grease, Prime method (@athletesauthority) for a direct and effecient warm up tool. . Banded Hip Distraction This movement is where we utilise a band to help increase space around the joint. This will aid in a more fluid movment for anyone with ...tight hips, especially if you find yourself sitting down in your canoe. . Get a thick band Set up in a Hip Flexor Stretch Position explore the area like shown in the video 30s each side, longer if you feel you need it .
