For those who are new to the club, Leanne Choo is a Sturt Badminton Club player who started her badminton journey at junior training sessions at Seymour on Friday nights. She has now been to one Olympic Games, and is vying for another this year at the Rio Olympic Games! We wish Leanne all the best and look forward to reading more about her soon. 05.01.2022 To all who are interested in becoming a Sporting Schools Coach, this course is for you! What: BWF Shuttle Time course When: Sunday May 8th Time: 9am-3:30pm... Where: Lockleys Badminton Hall (42 Rutland Ave, Lockleys) Cost: $25 The BWF Shuttle Time course is a fantastic opportunity to learn from Shuttle Time trainer, Stuart Rowlands, on how to deliver fun & safe badminton sessions, at school-badminton level. More information on the Shuttle Time course can be found on the BWF website, http://bwfbadminton.org/page.aspx?id=15529 All participants will have a 'Shuttle Time accreditation' at the end of the day. Junior coaching opportunities are available for Shuttle Time accredited coaches. To register for the course, please email [email protected] with your name and contact details. This will be held at Seymour college and will start at 7.30pm. We invite you to attend, and to also pay your club registration on the night to receive a $10 discount! You are also welcome to stay around for a free hit afterwards as well
