22.01.2022 An organised pantry is all the rage right now! Sometimes it’s a big overhaul with new containers and new storage, sometimes it’s just a reorganisation of the existing stock. It can be intimidating to spend money on something like containers for the pantry but it’s important to remember that it’s a one time expense and so much of our life revolves around our kitchens. I always recommend kitchens as the first place to get started for my clients, as it’s where we begin and usually end our days and it’s so important to feel at ease in this space! 21.01.2022 Playroom chaos turned playroom calm! An abundance of toys for some very lucky girls had overcrowded this playroom and left the family feeling overwhelmed as to where to start. Minimal additional items were needed for this transformation; for this space it was more about sorting and organising the items in a way that was functional and easy to maintain. 20.01.2022 Front closet make over! This busy mum working full time had become overwhelmed by the mess and with 4 boys the cycle of uniforms is never ending. Now we have a beautiful organised space where the boys can easily come in the morning and get ready. We’ve left space for some cube storage baskets for the socks and for the boys to store their school shoes. September is already booking up so if you’ve got a space that needs transforming now is the time to book in!

This client already had a lot of the basics needed to get organised but just needed a little help with setting things out on the shelves and organising like items together. Now we have shelves dedicated to dinner, baking and breakfast as well as a section for coffee, tea and drinks and a snack side for the kids when the afternoon munchies hit! So the help of IKEA I’ve created this craft trolley for my littlest folk to foster their creative spirits Anything else you think is missing?... (Paints were purposefully left out because I don’t quite trust Miss 3 with those yet )

06.01.2022 Something a little bit different this time A previous client enlisted my help to create a space for her 17 year old teenage daughter to come, hang out and be comfortable with her friends. 01.01.2022 TIP OF THE WEEK Changing small things can make a big difference! - I always recommend matching style coat hangers so that all your clothes hang at the same height in the same way. - Hanging clothes of the same style together (T-shirt’s, jumpers, dresses) really opens up the space as you won’t have longer items hanging down intruding in to the space below your smaller items) ... - Organising your clothing by colour creates an aesthetically pleasing space as well as being a great way to quickly locate the item of clothing you’re looking for.
