24.01.2022 Well that’s a wrap!!!! On behalf of the Sunset park team we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that has supported us through our journey with our first ever steer. It has been one hell of a ride with many tears along the way but we are very pleased to have been awarded a Bronze medal at Sydney royal 2018 with our steer! A massive thank you goes to Richmond High for getting aboard this journey with us and being in partnership with myself and my sister. You guys hav...e done one hell of a good job on Jack and if it wasn’t for you Mrs Gray for allowing this to happen we wouldn’t have been there this year! I can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done and I know a thank you isn’t enough but I don’t know how much more I can thank you as we are so grateful for it Another big thank you goes to Jordan and Hayleigh again thank you so much for all your support over the last 10 years and the continued support you have given us over the last a week and a bit. We definitely wouldn’t be were we are if it wasn’t for you and allowing us learn new things every time. But last but not least thank you to Mum, Nan, Dad, Nanny and Kieren and also thank you Nat and Claud’s for everything you guys have done for us as well it has been greatly appreciated!!! 24.01.2022 Today the Sunset Park team attended Picton show for the first time as stud owners and it also marks our first show for the 2018/19 show year with our baby heifer. Today was mainly just to take her out and get her use to noises and for experience and to say the least Im very proud of how she handle herself and went along with the day and wasnt fussed about anything around her. It has been a few months now since I started breaking her in and man did she make it hard in the b...eginning to do so as she just wanted to run and do what she wanted. She was a nervous, anxious calf at first but slowly began to trust me and realised I wasnt going to her hurt. Since then she has been worked with almost every day and today really showed us just how far she has come since day one and now loves all the affection she can get. This heifer went out today and took everything like a dream and went out into a very strong class of baby heifers and we are very pleased to say she stood her own and walked away with 4th place at her first show! To say we are humbled with this result is beyond words! We also had two of our team members give junior judging a crack as well and with saying that we would like to give a HUGE Congratulations to our little brother Kieren as he went out there today and took everything he has learnt off myself, my sister and Jordan over the years and put it into action and walked away with being announced the Champion Junior Judge 2018 this was such an amazing result to see. He sure is now starting to follow in our footsteps and stepping up after all the years of sitting back, watching and learning! So well done Kieren we are all so damn proud of you buddy and keep going you have so much potential and your only 12 years old. Results: Heifer- 6months and under 12months 4th place Junior Judging- Kieren- Champion Junior judge

24.01.2022 Have had a successful day here at Canberra Royal show with two of our team members competing in the junior judging and both of them coming home with a 1st and 2nd place. Im so proud of both these girls and how composed and confident they were within the show ring.

23.01.2022 On behalf of the Sunset Park team we would just like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year! We are all excited to see what 2020 has to offer!!

19.01.2022 We are officially Sydney Royal bound, pretty excited to be heading in under our own stud this year with our steer. A huge thank you Jordan for always being there and supporting us to get to where we are today, we couldnt of done it without you. Mum, Nan and Kieren, youve been the backbone throughout this journey and we appreciate everything you have done for us. Also a big thankyou goes to Mrs Gray, Nat Muscat and Claudia Muscat for everything you guys have done and also coming on this journey with us and supporting us. We wouldnt be where we are without any of you at all

18.01.2022 Today Sunset Park got the opportunity to do an incursion to Brookes Child care centre. We attended this afternoon with our two poddy calves (Wyatt and Dustin ) for the kids to see and interact with as most children in this field dont get that opportunity! Im very pleased to say the St Matthews children loved this incursion very much and highly spoke of it. We definitely couldnt have done it with out Jordan Ridge of Mystic Ridge Limousins coming out on our behalf and speaking with the children about Livestock and the Cattle and answering all the questions that the children had to ask. These children couldnt stop talking about them for the rest of the evening and have asked for them to come back already! We are so pleased to know we are able to provide our support to the community and help out our youth!

18.01.2022 The 2019 Canberra Royal Show has been without a doubt outstanding for our first show out for the year. We only took 1 heifer down and are extremely pleased with how she stood in her class. BIRUBI PEACH MELBA - 2nd in heifer under 12mths ... A huge thank you to everyone involved and for their support! It is appreciated and we are very humbled to have such great friends to guide us and teach us new things along the way. Special mentions to Jordan Ridge, Rebecca Maxwell, Indi Hilder, Ben Sherratt, Tony Starr, Nick Hreszczuk, Jayden Nicholls, Emily Polsen and Sam Croker

13.01.2022 Last June we had the opportunity to purchase a heifer from the Longreach Dispersal Sale. On the 23rd of October she delivered a healthy bull calf by Longreach Larikan who will be apart of our 2019 team making his debut to the show circuit at Hawkesbury Show. We would like to thank Kylie Jonkers and Carolyn Tooth for allowing us this opportunity and we cant wait to see what the future holds for this cow. We also attended the Birubi Dispersal Sale on 10th of November and had ...the opportunity to purchase an outstanding 3 in 1 package.. After a rocky two months before hand we swore we werent going to buy another animal for awhile but this cow and calf unit stood out to us and we couldnt go by this pair. Her heifer calf will be making her debut on the show circuit with Luddenham show being her first and the cows first show being Hawkesbury with a calf at foot. We would like to thank Glenn and Susie Trout for this opportunity. The Sunset Park Livestock team cant wait to see what the 2019 show season brings

03.01.2022 As 2019 comes to an end, we have made a few big decisions for our little stud with the upcoming 2020 show circuit just around the corner. With thanks to our close friend Scott Costello, we have had him design our new logo and banner. If anyone is looking to update their logos, we highly reccommend Scott for all of your marketing needs.
