16.01.2022 Our U15 Sunshine Coast Wanderers Girls competed this week in the Premier Invitational on the Gold Coast. This was a combined u15/16 competition for the girls. After 1 win and 3 draws in the preliminary games the girls qualified for the final against Magic United u16 girls. After a goal from Amy Jones in the first half of the final Magic equalised with about 10 minutes remaining. Finishing in a draw the game went straight to penalties with the Wanderers winning 4-3. Fantastic effort from the girls with Jorja Macdonald also receiving the Golden Gloves award after conceding the least amount of goals in the tournament.
