25.01.2022 Wow another awesome day of X-Country running was had by all. With only 1 more, race 6 at the University of the Sunshine Coast on the 9th of June. Then its a wrap for another year. But keep in mind our Winter carnival 23rd June at the University Track. Helpers still needed as well. See you all Sunday week.
24.01.2022 Well all you lovers of running especially X-Country running, Here are the Dates for the 2019 series.....Race 1 - 31/03/19. (2) 14/04/19..(3) 28/04/19, (4) 12/05/19. (5) 26/05/19. (6) 09/06/19. So get out into the bush or wherever you can for some running, with just over 10 weeks to go until the start of one of the best family friendly X-C series in Queensland. 19.01.2022 2020 Sunshine Coast Cross Country Season has been postponed! As per guidelines received from Queensland Athletics - in the interests of the health and safety of all athletics participants all competitions will be postponed until after 31st May. Any possible competition this year will be determined as and when any further advice is received.
19.01.2022 Online registrations are now available to help minimise queues on race day. Just go to our website and click the Online Registration tab. http://www.sccrosscountry.com.au/index.cfm Registration is done just once for the series no matter how often you run. For QA, Qrun, QMA, LAQ members and under 8s rego is free - $15 for all other runners.... On race day just check in and pay the race fee. Registration will still be available on the day.
18.01.2022 Well all you cross country runners we have just past the halfway point in the six race series. With only Maleny, Ben Bennett, & the University left. So continue your good running , wether your chasing a top 3 finish or middle or at the rear of the pack it doesn't matter, everyone is a winner because of the benefits of this healthy lifestyle . See you all up the hill in Maleny Sunday week. Happy running

15.01.2022 Well lovers of all types of running. especally our fabulous X-Country series that caters for everyone from toddler's through to Masters, the countdown is on only one week until the 1st of the 6 race series. Don't forget to be in the running for trophies you have to participate in at least 4 of the races. See you all next Sunday morning to enjoy one of the best X-Country series in Queensland.

Are you going to watch the best athletes in the country tackle the slopes of this fantastic X-Country course. So head up the range to view this fantastic event and awesome X-Country running.

11.01.2022 This weekend, parkrun are celebrating 'International Women's Day' so come on girls, let's get out there for some exercise, fresh air and coffee. If you wish you may also dress in purple (parkrun's chosen colour for the day, and the official colour of IWD). I will be wearing my purple Elton John volunteer tshirt and purple tutu. You just need to register at www.parkrun.com.au and bring along your barcode. It is a FREE 5KM timed weekly event that starts at the Sports fields nex...t to Baringa school at 7am. You can run or walk with your friends. Other locations on Sunny Coast - Nambour, Kawana, Golden Beach, Mudjimba, Noosa, Brightwater. Come along to your local weekly event.
04.01.2022 Hey all you X-Country family, don't forget to come out to the University this Sunday around 7.30 am to register if you want to have a crack at some Track running, 3k starts at 8am, followed by the sprints & field events, Middle distance 800m, 1500m. Check the University athletic clubs website for more details. Hope to see some of you there. May even have a go myself.!!!! . One more thing lovely Medalson offer, and anyone can participate.
