19.01.2022 After an extensive concentrated effort from Victorian universities, student organisations and peak bodies in lobbying to the Victorian state government, it was ...announced today that Victoria will have a $45 Million Relief Fund for International Students. Students who have lost their jobs will be eligible for a payment of up to $1,100. This is a good step in acknowledging the precarious situation of International students and working to provide relief to them. We thank the work done on a state level by Swinburne University of Technology , NUS National Union of Students and other relevant organisations.
