25.01.2022 Tournament Update. 29 teams have confirmed their entry for this year's Meriton. List of teams can be found on the tournament website (tomorrow). Prizemoney $130,000 Teams - one pro and three amateurs... Amateur entry $1395 includes golf (in carts) at NSW, St Michaels and The Lakes, breakfast, lunch, PM drinks and nibbles, Gala Dinner, Players Welcome Pack (worth $500), and much more. 25.01.2022 If you havent already got your team organised for this years Meriton, then I suggest you do it sooner rather than later. The field will be full in the next few weeks. You need one pro (PGA or ALPG) and 3 amateurs. Cost is $296 for pros and $1395 for each amateur - includes, golf at NSW, St Michaels and The Lakes, carts each day, breakfast, lunch, PM eats after day 1&2, legendary Players Welcome Pack (worth $550), drinks on course, Gala Charity Dinner (to be held at The Lakes on Thursday evening), amateur prizes and trophies worth $25,000 and pros play for a total of $130,000. Come play and have a fantastic time, as well as help raise money for the Westmead Childrens Hospital.

23.01.2022 Four (4) weeks tonight and we will be wining and dining at the Sydney Invitational Gala Charity Dinner. Presenting big cheques to the winning pros, trophies to the victorious teams and hopefully raising much needed funds for the Westmead Childrens Hospital. Over the next few weeks I will post a number of items that will be auctioned and silent auctioned on the night and invited everybody to place (absentee) bids on items of interest. Stay tuned !!
22.01.2022 Hope everybody is in good health. Nothing too much to update regards the 2020/21 Meriton golf event. It is still postponed, and to run this year (or next) it requires the following: * Relaxing of the movement of persons across borders * Relaxing of the number of players per group for golf (to 4 players) * The opening of clubhouses to allow F&B and presentations... So we are a ways off that all happening. When it does we have to determine if, when, where and how the Meriton Events are conducted. It may continue as a 4 person team event with one pro and three amateur format, played over 3 days for $130,000 Alternatively, it may be run as 5 one-day pro-ams held across NSW and Qld for $25,000 each (with guaranteed prizemoney for every pro playing). 22.01.2022 Attention all participants in this year's Meriton Sydney Invitational on Day 1 at NSW - I have reliably informed that the course is in fantastic condition, and the rough between the fairway and "mugoomby" is particularly challenging with recent rain. Practise hard - only 4 weeks to go !!

14.01.2022 Three weeks today and everybody will readying themselves for battle on Day 1 of the Sydney Invitational at New South Wales golf club. So what to expect ?? Lets hope it's something like this !! Clear skies and calm !!... All teams should have been notified of their tee times for the first two days of the tournament (check FB and email messages).

10.01.2022 2020 Meriton Sydney Invitational With the uncertainty of the Corona Virus, the dates for the 2020 Meriton Sydney Invitational will not be available at this point of time. Exact details (dates and venues) will not be confirmed until June at the earliest, and only after consultation with our Major Sponsor, and the PGA, PGA Tour and ALPG who will all be reorganising their tournament schedules. All efforts will be made to organise dates that allows PGA, ALPG professionals, and amateurs to play in the Meriton event that will be a 2-day event this year. 09.01.2022 WOW !! Another Meriton done and dusted !! What a week. Perfect weather !! All scores are available for viewing on the results page of The Sydney Invitational. The team scores will be finalised Sunday evening and players have until 5pm Monday to notify John Small of any score queries before the Team results are finalised and prizemoney calculated and paid Tuesday 28th & Wednesday 29th Photos will be posted on SI website and SI Facebook site on Mon/Tue/Wed !!

07.01.2022 Pleased to announce that the 2020 Meriton Sydney Invitational will be held in September or October this year. Exact details (dates and venues) will be confirmed in the next few days, but I can confirm some details now. This years prizemoney will be $125,000, with the same format, involving PGA, ALPG professionals, and amateurs.... The event will be a 2-day event (not 3 days). Great news is that this years event will focus on raising much needed money for the Bushfire Relief. Please LIKE and/or Share the post to get out this info to as many people as possible who may be interested in playing. Similar to last year the field size will be limited to ensure an acceptable pace of play.

04.01.2022 Day 1 done and dusted!! My tech savy daughter, Bronte will have the scores loaded on FB and on the SI website shortly. Beautiful day, perfect conditions and spectacular views, great food, and all played on one of Australias true tests of golf. St Micks tomorrow.
